We purchased a property from Barton and Co back in 2017,We then used Barton and Co to sell our previous property ,from our initial contact back in 2017 right through to the completion of our sale the whole team have been amazing, giving us advice and guidance keeping us fully updated by email and phone at every stage of our purchase and then our sale. We were so pleased with the service we received from Barton & Co. They were very professional and helpful and secured us an excellent price for the sale of our house. The quality of the photos and advertising was fantastic and with Ollie doing all the viewings it made the whole process stress free. Nothing was too much trouble and it was great to know that there was always someone willing to help at the other end of the phone. Highly recommended!

Well what can we say? As first time buyers me and my husband were very new to the whole process and the service we received from start to finish was fantastic!! Ollie was there from the first viewing right through to the completion!! James was there to hand us the keys and he too was really helpful and so pleasant. We felt that as a team Ollie and James were great and the personal touch they brought to the whole process was amazing and definitely helped us feel happy and settled with the purchase of our first home!! After letting my house with a high street agency who provided appalling service, I was feeling very cynical when I started to look for an agent who would sell the property (determined that the previous agent would see no more of my money than I had to give). James understood my hesitation at trusting another agent, kept me in the loop at every step and, despite some hold ups caused by the letting of the property, ultimately managed to the sell the house for full asking price to the first people to view! I couldn't have asked for better! Absolutely recommend this agency.

i cannot speak highly enough of the service that James provided from the start to completion. The first viewer James escorted around my property made an offer and purchased the property! He is a thoroughly personable and professional person and nothing was too much trouble. He kept me updated every step of the way and he was not only efficient in keeping solicitors talking but also liaised with the sales agent on a regular basis with regards to the new build i was purchasing. There's a lot to be said for a smaller estate agent and this was certainly reflected in the personal service provided.

There's nothing we can fault James and Ollie on, but the main praise we have for them was the hard work they continued to put in once they'd found a buyer. They were chasing all sides regularly, keeping things moving and querying solicitors where needed. They had a brilliant rapport with our buyer, encouraging them to keep things moving too. Due to factors beyond their control, it was a long, difficult sale and I'm sure had they not have been involved we may not have got to the end of it successfully. On top of this, our house was empty and we had relocated some distance from it, but Ollie and James kept an eye on the property and checked all was well through cold weather etc. I can't imagine another estate agency putting in the effort and work that James and Ollie did. Highly recommend them and would have been a whole new level of stress without them. Really personable, great rapport with solicitors, very professional.

I initially rented the property with five other tenants through another agency that was extremely unreliable. The building had mold in one room because there was insufficient air circulation, the boiler didn't work and still the agency would not even respond to our emails. Luckily, our landlord decided to switch to Barton and Co. Ollie immediately took action and fixed all problems although they were still leftovers from the previous agency. Extremely reliable and fair!

After months of no success with high street names, Ollie was like a breath of fresh air, in his approach and results! He kept us in touch all through, on what he warned was going to be a stressful time in our lives - he certainly helped us along the way in a very personable and professional way. When Ollie was not available, James and the office were always on hand to help.

They managed to get a buyer for our property very quickly and handled everything for us. James took care of all the viewings which made the selling process so much easier. Having sold a house in 2016 through one of the National High Street Estate Agents, we were left unimpressed with their availability and lack of communication throughout the entire sale. Barton & Co pride themselves on their communication and having experienced this first hand as both a buyer and seller they certainly impressed us with their availability, knowledge and pro-activity. This was probably best demonstrated by their eagerness to regularly get in touch with all parties to ensure that the sale progressed as smoothly as possible. We will definitely be recommending them to friends and family in the future.

I love the fact that Barton & Co are a smaller independent company. The service is so much more personalised. Sometimes you think that agents mainly look after and care about the landlords, but these guys really go the extra mile for tenants, I would recommend them any day over any other agency in Norwich. They are very knowledgeable and treat people on their books with professionalism and respect. Its what you want from an agent.
