Very professional man turned up to value the house and everything was dealt with quickly. When the house was on the market there were several occasions when accompanied viewings were booked and no one turned up including the representative from the estate agent without letting me know. This was very awkward as my niece was renting the property and was rushing in from work and preparing for viewings that didn’t happen. Poor communication. This whole sale experience was a nightmare once we accepted an offer from a property investor. We were told he had a mortgage in principal and was ready to go. We completed all the paperwork from RAW Clark solicitors and returned it the same day. 10 weeks later I contacted the solicitor to find out why it hadn’t heard anything yet. She was very rude saying “ can’t make him buy your house” . Clearly my call prompted her to find your what was going on only to discover that the buyer wasn’t using the solicitor that my solicitor thought they were. I was then asked to deal with the case via Wendy Burbridge from Pattinsons. After a tricky start, Wendy was great chasing things up and trying to move the sale forward. The buyer however was telling her one thing and me another to prolong the sale I felt. In the meantime we were accruing a huge amount of charges in bills and lost rent totalling £2500. Even though Wendy was trying her best, the solicitor was less than effective. I was having to send a lot of emails to chase things up as well as Wendy. At one point I contacted to buyer to find out what the delay was and he told me he was waiting for searches to come back. As I thought this highly unlikely I contacted the land charges department myself to chase them up. She informed me that the searches had only been requested in early October - yet we had started the sale and completed and returned our forms on 18th May. This was very frustrating as at no point had the solicitor chased up the sale. Thankfully Wendy and I were both on the case. Eventually- as we had expected would happen -the buyer asked to lower the price of the house by £5500 so that we could complete. As Wendy was on holiday at the time someone else negotiated a price of £92000. Wendy was monitoring emails whilst on holiday and keeping in touch with me. As soon as Wendy returned to work things began to move at a faster pace and we completed in December. Into the new year and although we had received the money for the house we had not had a completion statement from the solicitor so I contacted Wendy. She immediately contacted the solicitor and got it sorted for us. At every stage, Wendy copied me into emails she was sending on our behalf to keep us in the loop which was great.I really can’t fault Wendy- she was professional and helpful throughout going above and beyond at times to make sure we got everything completed. Unfortunately we can’t say the same for our solicitors and did recommend to your office that you use someone else as they provide a less than professional service falling short of the code of practice for solicitors in many areas. They really don’t give your company a good service. Thanks Wendy- your were a trooper in what was a very stressful experience.

I have given our experience 5 stars, it’s not for the company but purely for the service Wendy Burbridge provided. The sale was stagnating and I truly believe it still wouldn’t have completed hadn’t it been for the work Wendy did. She drives the sale forward and is always available to answer any queries you have. If I knew Wendy was involved in my sale I wouldn’t hesitate to use Pattinsons in the future, she is a credit to the company.

The team are amazing and very helpful! We had a long process with getting our home due to new safety acts and the solicitors but Wendy Burbridge was amazing with keeping us up to date with what was going on and was checking in with us weekly. Thieving crooks

Awful company, do not use, my property in auction for 2 months with no bids reduced on their advice they knew I was on a tight schedule to sell, last minute before auction ending a bid comes in but they didn't know how to get hold of the bidders, it was Pattinsons who put the bid in, I did not want to continue any further with them so they are now charging me £12,000 for NOT selling my property.Absolute thieving crooks.

Terrible Estate Agent to Work with (West Road Newcastle)!

I put an offer for a property in Newcastle (NE4). I was told that it was the best and highest offer. They asked me to send agreement in principle and then mysteriously wasted lots of time (three weeks)until someone put same amount of offer and their offer was accepted! Everything was very fishy. We were supposed to have a viewing today and it got cancelled 20 minutes before because they misplaced the keys. Absolutely ridiculous after having to leave work early having financial impact. Not to mention a 40 minute drive.It affected another potential sale, who also arrived at the property along with us.And unfortunately has put us off the sale of the Benlaw Grove property.

Even if you tell them you're not interested, they'll still call you!

We were interested in viewing a property via Pattinson, we saw it and thought it had potential but we were too early in our selling cycle.Instead we asked to receive a property valuation, although this all went according to plan, upon receiving the email valuation this felt different to what was actually said in person and in the end this was a very different experience to the two other property valuations we received.Anyway, we completely lost all confidence in Pattinson on the whole from this experience and asked not to be contacted again. I have now received 4 additional calls from them to 'check in with us' and advise us that we can still ditch our current agency and sell via them. Honestly, would never use them to buy or sell, especially with the pushy sales techniques. A GDPR 'forget my details' request has now been sent because it's beyond a joke to keep calling when you've already been told we are not interested!

Poor Communication & Unsafe Living Conditions

I'm very disappointed with the handling of this issue. I collected the property key on the 4th april 25 and completed my inventory, during which I noticed the boiler/gas system wasn't working. Despite emailing, I received no positive response and had to follow up with a call. It's now been 13 days without gas or heating, and I have a toddler. I was advised to contact Northern Gas Networks myself. Fortunately, a contractor arrived within 30 minutes and confirmed an internal pipe leak. The report has been forwarded to the maintenance team, I sincerely hope this is resolved urgently.

Absolute cowboys, they have been mismanaging my property for a long time. First they didn’t get the contractor to repair as agreed and completely ignored my instructions and at times they approve repairs without even informing me. I would say definitely read the clauses on the contract, you can’t stop the management during tenancy tenure. sent a letter Susan Moore and she failed to even get back, horrible company!- replaying to the reply: that’s a lie I can attach the amount of time I’ve email and even sent a formal letter to your CFO Susan Moore. The 4 stars are almost solely for Maria…

The 4 stars are almost solely for Maria Cires. She kept in constant touch throughout the whole process keeping me informed. There were several considerable delays during this and Maria was extremely patient explaining why and doing as much as she was able to do to move things along. The fees are substantial but I feel Maria went above and beyond her normal job role to help us get to the house we had chosen. She was always on the end of the phone or email and would always respond quickly to any query I had. She was also one of the only people during the last 7 months to keep me relatively calm and sane and helped reassure me at certain times. This has been a ridiculously and unnecessarily stressful experience but Maria has helped hugely in trying to minimise this as much as she was able to. I would fully recommend her to anyone I know wishing to sell or buy as they would be in more than safer hands with Maria.

I had dealings as the purchaser, not vendor and felt their service was very professional, courteous and that they had my interests in mind as much as their vendor's, which I think builds confidence.Alison was extremely helpful in arranging a second viewing, at short notice, because I am relocating and not at all local; she attended herself.I have had dealings with another Est Agent that had none of the basic information a buyer will want regarding lease, maintenance, ground rent etc, for a property they'd marketed a couple of months. Let down on a viewing too. Pattison was the complete opposite.I would happily recommend Pattison and wouldn't hesitate to use them personally, if I were selling my home in the future.
