As the executor for a family member, living over a 4.5 hour drive away, I needed an estate agent who I could both trust and rely on.... I chose Rush Witt and Wilson (Northiam Office) as the family member had previously put the property to market with themselves before their illness progressed and it had to be removed. From meeting Oliver Claridge for the first time, I felt a connection, after instruction I met the rest of the team, Kevin and Roz. It's refreshing should you need to call, the whole team can respond rather than just one individual as would be the case in a large multi agency. The property market is in a tough place presently, with country and world issues having a huge effect on it, Rush Witt positivity gives you that added confidence. Once a buyer was found you are allocated a team member to handle the sale progression throughout, again all handled efficiently in-house. Thank you all for bringing that personal touch at an emotional time. Thank you Roz, your tenacity, attention to detail proved vital for the sale to progress so quickly. I am indebted to yourself.

Rush, Witt and Wilson are by far the best local estate agents. Ollie, Kevin, Roz (and Misha) at Northiam are brilliant. They are not your stereotypical estate agents. We found them to be very professional from the initial valuation through to completion. There was no hard sell, and we felt confident they were always acting in our best interests. They kept us informed on any progress, and we felt comfortable approaching them if we wanted anything. They all worked really hard for us, but a big thank you goes to Roz for getting us over the finishing line.

I have bought and sold with many Estate Agents and l have to say RWW are one of the best. They dealt with the sale of my late Mother's House that had been in the family for 68 years. Although the staff were polite and friendly, I had a very negative experience using this company when trying to purchase two grade 2 listed properties in northiam and bodiam. The owner of the northiam property would not confirm if the private drainage was compliant and we waited weeks and it cost us over £2000. The owner would not progress the sale when we offered an alternative way forward. I complained to the branch manager. He showed my complaint to other staff members but never replied to me. The property went straight back on the market even though the vendor would not sort out the drainage and the company completely disregarded my concerns. The next purchasers might fall into the same situation we did and the company do not want to take any responsibility regarding how this effects the buyers. The second property in bodiam was just coming on the market and was disclosed to us that a member of staff was related to the vendor. They assured as the sale could move quickly and if the drainage was not compliant the vendor would sort it out. We agreed to the full asking price and waited for the compliance to be confirmed. We waited another 2 weeks but still wasn't told if it was compliant and also if it was not we would need to pay towards it. The cottage is now back on the market at £20k more than the original price! What I experienced does not seem very professional. BEWARE of private drainage and false promises.
