GoogleWe couldn’t recommend Young’s RPS enough. This was our first house move and everything went very smoothly in the end. We had a few hiccups in the beginning with the initial buyers pulling out but the team at Young’s were so efficient, supportive and helpful and were always at hand when we needed them - whether that be by phone or by email. We dealt with Fiona and Jess very closely and are so grateful for the guidance in house price and sales techniques they gave us. Moving house with 3 young children is very stressful but it was all made a lot easier by a great team of estate agents like Young’s.

GoogleBuyers beware: 62 North End, Osmotherley, Northallerton
We recently agreed a purchase of this property, with some modernisation needed but no other visible significant issues. The seller agreed the purchase price, to include the furniture, and then proceeded to waste our time and money by moving the dial at every opportunity.
At first, they tried to remove elements of furniture from the offer, but keep the purchase price the same.
We then undertook a survey which showed significant and costly hidden issues. They denied there were issues and then, on finally conducting their own investigation and realising that there were issues that needed remedying, tried to increase the purchase price of the property!
So, beware if you consider this property that you may very well also be taken for a costly joy ride by the unscrupulous seller.
We've wasted time and money on lawyers and surveys - very disappointing.
In the midst of this came the SDLT changes, making it significantly more expensive for us to purchase this property, but we didn't go to the seller and request a price reduction since the deal had already been agreed.
All the team at Youngs have been great to deal with, but a real shame to be up against sellers like this.
