Very unprofessional, told us our offer was agreed and vendor was happy and property would have no more viewings and then suddenly they said they had a higher offer. Depends who you speak to, some staff seem very inexperienced. Must be one of the only estate agents who allow viewings once an offer has been accepted. However when I went to buy a property they wouldn't let me view as they said the offer had been accepted, so contradicting themselves, even when I tried to explain this, no apology just said this was usual practise!!!

Couldnβt have been more impressed with Keith Pattinson who took care of the sale of my home and purchase of another. Lyndsay was fantastic from start to finish! Very professional and nothing was too much for her. Kept us updated from start to finish. Would highly recommend A+++++++++++++++++

TrustpilotSeller beware! Can't sell if people can't view
I'm a prospective cash buyer trying to arrange viewings on 2 properties up for sale with Pattinson's. They promised a call back last week to sort out some viewings but never did. When I called back today for an update, the person trying to transfer my call didn't realise that I could hear what was being said - the person on the other end couldn't be bothered to take the call and argued loudly with the first person - I could hear it all!! And when she told me she was "having difficultly transferring" so the other person would phone me back directly, what a surprise - still no call back hours later! So unprofessional. So what sort of service are they actually providing to sellers? It's not surprising to me now that the properties have been on the market for many months unsold - not just market conditions with that sort of response.In this case, I guess it's a case of SELLER beware rather than buyer beware!

What a waste of time.I had an agreement with them to pay a tenancy upfront , then they said it would be better to pay monthly as long as I had a guarantor. So after going through the whole referencing process and obtaining a garantor .They went back on their word and asked for the full tenancy which after the agreement of monthly payments .I was not happy about this as I like to be a man of my word and after eventually agreeing as I had no other choice , was still refused .Wether down to the agents or landlord , my experience was unprofessional and untrustworthy .

From the start of the selling process Ian Robson was excellent. He put us at ease with his professionalism taking beautiful photographs and videos. He was one of four valuations and my family and I quickly realised we could trust his knowledge and understanding. Within days viewings were being booked in, followed by numerous offers. Ian, Lyndsay Greenwell, Sharon Cummings and Jodi Gooch were in close contact throughout, offering advice and help. Their support was excellent throughout and we had total confidence in everything they did for us. A brilliant team and Lyndsay in particular, with her excellent communication skills, kept us informed every step of the way. Thank you from myself and the family for your support throughout.

Have tried to view a property through Patinsins for the past 5 weeks.The office staff never return calls or are capable of setting up a viewing.I have now read the reviews and they are so bad I will not be pursuing any property with this company. Far too unreliable and unprofessional.

TrustpilotGet anything important verbally conveyed in writing.
I am an experienced property investor. I understand buying property under auction conditions. I was told 'Everything you see in the pictures will remain in the property' by the Wallsend branch manager (Alia). Surprise surprise, first visit revealed many items were missing, including a TV. On being challenged Alia produced the most premeditated, 'didn't matter what I said you bought under auction conditions' response. It is obviously not the first time she has trotted out this line. Deceitful, slimy behaviour. Do not take anything verbally on face value. If they won't put it in writing, it is a lie.

I found the office to be dealing with our sale to be very helpful, especially Nicola Vicarage who dealt with our sale from start to finish. I have dealt with Catalina from the Blyth branch and found here verry helpfully polite and she tried her best to resolve any problems or issues I had sorting everything out she got back intutch fast and seemed like she would go out of her way to help me I would definitely recommend patersons to other people looking for property's and would recommend they speak with Catalina as she will do her best to get you in your property as fast as she can I found her to be a really nice and frendly woman

I visited the Pattinsons estate agents in whickham as I was looking for a new rental for me and my family. The service I received was absolutely astounding, Lyndsay Greenwell ( The manager) and her team were amazing. Lyndsay went above and beyond working around the clock. With us having two children both with disabilities she made sure that the property was suitable and safe for them. More than happy to recommend Pattinsons. The staff were efficient and friendly throughout and were always willing to go the extra mile. I liked that if I couldnβt get through to the stockton office the call was diverted to their call centre who would send a message. My sale got quite difficult towards the end, but Jan was exceptional in the way she managed the situation and Iβm sure her determination ensured a positive result for all parties. I feel sure she must have spent half her time on my sale alone! Special mention to Danielle aswell, helpful, friendly and efficient. Well done and thank you.

Disappointing service to rent out my flat. First proposed tenant had not had previous landlord references verified and was still being pushed through. Another nearly three weeks passed and another tenant found, but caused significant financial loss through their inadequate process and only offered Β£100 off the fee. Very disappointing and dubious referencing would make me avoid them in future.

Very disappointed with the experience I recently received with this auction house. The agent messed up on a completion date which added unnecessary stress and anxiety on a fast turnaround closure. This particular issue took over a week to sort out. I also asked for critical information regarding the property I was buying pre sale. This was never received. I have since pulled out of the bid and it;βs cost me a lot of money for Patterson Auctions for the lack of communication and mistake. Whatβs more insulting is theyβre not taking any responsibility for the experience I have had with them . My advise is to buy with a regular estate agent and avoid auction houses like Pattersons. I also wished I had read all the other terrible comments on Trusted Pilot first !
