The Accessible Toilet at Hull Fair

The Accessible Toilet at Hull Fair was 'OUT OF ORDER' for the second year running. This is the second year that we have attended and it was the same last year..!!!! This is really not acceptable and reflects very poorly on the sevices provided by the council in the area at big events like this.

The Live Well Isle of Axholme sports…

The Live Well Isle of Axholme sports centre in Epworth is truly excellent in every way. The facilities are fabulous and the staff are friendly and helpful. Plus you can currently get two months free membership if you're over 66 years. If you're worried about joining, don't be. There really is no minimum standard. I said I'd join a gym when I retired. It took me 3 years to pluck up courage to go. Really, nobody will take any notice of your level of fitness, they'll just admire you for trying. The best thing is to set your own targets. Start very low and just gradually build up at your own pace. The various pieces of equipment start at very low levels. There are people in there well over 80yrs of age. The important thing is even very modest exercise soon starts to show benefits. There are great changing rooms - free to use lockers and warm showers. Whoever designed this place did a first class job.

Yesterday we said a final farewell to our mum at winterton. Mum was taken on her final journey down westwinds road where she had lived for over 50 years. I would like to commend the bin men on the respect they showed by stopping what they were doing and standing as a mark of respect as the funeral cars drove past. To all you lovely men concerned THANK YOU

Today I spoke to the council about my council tax arrears and I just want to say that the lady I spoke to on the phone, Rebecca (I think), is an absolute credit to the council, she's exactly the type of person you need on that end of the phone. Hoping this feedback could be passed on.

I moved house and wanted to change my council tax address, I rang the contract centre with nobody answering the phone after 1 hour I decided to go to the office at Church Square. I asked the gentleman if he could get someone to come and see me or help me make a oppointment, he replayed nobody works there anymore, they work remotely and I would have to ring them again on the same number I had been trying before. What a waste of a large office. I tried to ring them the next day and guess what, nobody replied after waiting nearly 2 hours. It is a impossible task, the worst experience of my live

Does not care about the welfare of carers or elderly people. And for god sake fill some potholes. People around Scunthorpe are driving on what's left of the road now.

I’ve had to ring every day since the new year about fly tipping in my tenfoot. The bins weren’t emptied on Tuesday and have still yet to be. Some of the fly tipped waste was removed this morning but there is still a lot left so I will be ringing them again today about it and the unemptied bins. I have had my red and brown bin taken off me so all of my waste has to go in my green bin. The council are supposed to empty them weekly which they have failed to do this week. When are people going to be held accountable for fly tipping? When are local residents going to be able to speak to someone that is β€˜high up the council ladder’?

It's a building used by the North Lincolnshire Council so most people don't get beyond the reception, us included. Dogs aren't allowed and I didn't see any children either. There are no public toilets etc. It is a purely functional space.

Warning, As an environmentalist I think its appalling North Lincolnshire Council is not being more open about the apocalyptic affects climate change and sea levels is going to have on North Lincolnshire in the not too distant future. It is accepted that North Lincolnshire will lose vast swaths of land to the elevating sea levels, increased inland flooding etc. Much of the land is low laying and already designated high risk flood zones so hardly surprising many parts of North Lincolnshire is doomed. Perhaps its time to wake up and smell the coffee. It is here where massive land loss is coming in the not to distant future to flooding. Shame on North Lincolnshire for not being open about the doom future of North Lincolnshire.

Local council as a government organization was created by a nation with an aim of serving (provide service needed by a nation). Instead of having two swimming pools in Scunthorpe. Council decided to demolish old swimming pool (put your money in to the bin) and build the new one. Kids in secondary school know that 2 is greater than 1. What qualification is needed to get a job at North Lincolnshire council? Air quality, If the business impacts the environment in negative way, it has to pay a fine. So dear owners of British Steel I expect you to clean my windows and car twice a month, how you are going to clean my lungs, I don’t know but that’s your problem now. How much less money people of North Lincolnshire would pay for the council tax if our rubbish would be recycled and the profit from it would come back to us tax payers ? You would know it if council would not employ privet company to do it. Nowadays you give them glass, aluminum, steel , plastic, organic waste and you don’t get nothing for it back.

Most of services accessible on the website, very easy to use and no need for phone calls. Waste and recycling services great, ordered new bin and it was delivered the following day. So far didn't come across with rudeness or discrimination. I just can't believe some 1* reviews, please people be kind. Also would like to mention gardening services, fabulous flowers around Brigg. Thank you.

Tried to order a replacement bin for our new home ... impossible ... told many times over 2 WEEKS that their systems were down or that we could n't order a bin for other stupid reasons .... it seems that NLC are willing to let rubbish pile up in the streets .... POOR POOR POOR . The level of service from this public body is dire . MUST DO BETTER !!

Change of occupier, wrote to Council with correct details, letter ignored , reminders and threats and demands followed on wrong amount, wrote again , ignored , phoned 30 mins waiting in queue then cut off without talking to anyone, called again 20 mins and still waiting --arrogant and appaliing to presume taxpayers and customers have all day to wait to put right their mistake. Shocking.

You won't be able to do anything in the Council building because a building worth millions of £££ with the Council sign on it is not a Council!

Not customer friendly & seem to put most of their recourses past Brumby Corner. The council Leader sent back money to central government to help the unemployed out with council tax payments saying they didn't need it as ALL unemployed had Tvs and mobiles .
