GooglePeter Murray made an illegal will for my uncle, Sir Michael Maxwell Bt, in 2013, who was in the depths of frontal lobe dementia (this was against medical and legal advice). They were the sole executor and sole witness to this will. Micheal had been sectioned and told he could not make a will in England prior to this. They hid a relevant doctor’s letter which was only extracted by lawyers. The firm has refused to admit liability despite overwhelming and unequivocal evidence and caused huge headache a heartache for our family over the past 5 years and huge legal costs. They are unprofessional and to be avoided at all costs. They have also stopped family staying at our family home - Monreith- and prevented my mother’s burial there. It is disgusting. The contents of the will are inconceivable to all family and destroy our family’s 800 year history in Dumfries and Galloway.

GoogleVery disappointing service. Initial phone call with Helena was a little disconcerting as she appeared to lack interests and enthusiasm, however we were on a short timescale and asked Helena to place a bid on a house we were wanting to buy. The offer date came and went, and we heard nothing. We emailed Helena to see if there was an update, but we got no response. Finally we called the estate agent and they informed us our bid was unsuccessful and she had notified Helena three weeks ago. Very disappointed with the service and will be going else where for any future business.
