Digney Boyd only had external photos on their website when I enquired about a rental property. When I called, I was told "viewings only, no photos." I clarified that I could view on Tuesday (next day) as I was flying over. Regretfully, there was no room for negotiation with this date, so I chose not to move forward. Notably, this property is currently the most expensive one listed on their website. Nobody asked me any questions or showed any interest in my circumstances. The woman on the phone had a terrible attitude and seemed uninterested. On Thursday, I noticed that the property had been reduced by £200 (possibly due to the agents' difficulties finding a tenant). In response, I sent an online enquiry and requested images. This request was initially ignored, and was again asked if I wanted to view. I explained I live in London so would ideally like to see some photos before scheduling a flight over. Then, miraculously, some pictures were sent over via email. There were only the pictures to email, no written text. I sent another email on Friday, today, reiterating my interest. I asked to see the property and enquired about whether the landlord would object to the installation of an electric car charger for one small dog. All I got in response was "no animals." I'm shocked at how unprofessional Digney Boyd’s interactions with me have been. Although I respect the landlord's decision to for no pets, Digney Boyd employees obviously need to improve their customer service skills. After bringing their flaws to their attention, they just sent me the sarcastically bestowed "Thank you" email in response. I sincerely hope this company's directors and owners pay attention to this review. Regarding 5a Ferryhill Road's landlord, I would highly advise you to think about listing your wonderful property with a company that does it justice.

Had a fantastic experience with Digney Boyd! The team was professional, approachable, and very supportive throughout the entire process. They provided clear communication and handled everything efficiently, making the experience smooth and stress-free. Their dedication and attention to detail really stood out. Stay away, very dishonest people. The woman says whatever you want to hear, just to make a deal. Afterwards is rude and doesn't care. She told us there would be nice, quiet estates, told us about the neighbors etc. But she was the one who brought the scumbags to the area, who shout and spit instead of talking. But she doesn't care when you complain, obviously money is more important.

The worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. We rented a property with them and it took over 2 months for us to get our deposit back. We didn't even get the full amount back. They put stuff in the house and said it was ours. We had to keep chasing them up and they did nothing for the house. I strongly recommend you find a different estate agent, especially if you want to rent. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Iam totally dismayed and exasperated with this estate agency and the misleading and lack of important information not communicated to their customer, causing unnecessary stress throughout the attempted sale of property..and financial loss throughout the process. They do not abide by their code of practice for upholding duty of care to their clients. Also a complete lack of professionalism when speaking to clients and I would not recommend using this estate agent.

Rented a house through Digney Boyd, which was also owned by Digney Boyd, for 13 years. They did absolutely nothing for us during this time, despite many phone calls, we had to undertake all maintenance ourselves and were left with the bill for a quite a number of jobs. They then decided to sell the property, but have not given back the deposit we payed 13 years ago, they have given no reason for withholding the deposit. Despite taking them to small claims court they have denied all knowledge of the supposed landlord and are denying a low-income family with 4 young children of money that is rightfully ours.

Chaotic and rude (evidence available), no clue about the legalities, tried to withhold a tenant's deposit claiming they had given it to the landlord. Almost a court case but landlord was able to prove them in default. Much more could be said about the abject ignorance here.

When the agency needs something from you - they will be very nice and available. When you need something from them - they will disappear. They will not answer emails, speak disparagingly and will not take your inquiries seriously. If professional integrity is something you value in your real estate agent, take these notes into your considerations. Very much disappointing!

Don't phone you back when they promise. Don't take into consideration the largest increase in housing prices in decades before placing a valuation on your home that's virtually identical to several years ago. Not willing to listen to arguments for increasing their valuation based on market increases or additional assets added to the property since previous valuation. Clearly not in touch with market values or they would recognise lesser properties selling for more in the immediate vicinity. No consideration for the implications of their valuations on real peoples lives when remortgaging and how their opinion can end up costing home owners thousands of pounds. Disappointing service.

Viewed property with Ronan 1st July. Put an INITAL offer on property. Ronan sais, as is what all agents say, "I will put your offer to vendor and back to you" one week later, no call with to offer. Sellers beware, Ronan didn't even seem interested in sale. Avoid if you are selling your home. Read reviews and don't think I am the 1st to have bad experience. No point in complaining according to other reviews.

My daughter used this company to buy her first home. The staff member was very friendly and called a spade a spade, no messing with fancy talking. Some might say a little unprofessional but hey she got a sale. The website is well laid out and easy to navigate with plenty to offer from hovels to mansions and reviews of the properties are well versed .
