Aston at the Swaffham branch was fantastic. He made us feel really comfortable and answered all the questions we had. As first time buyers it can be all very overwhelming at times however Aston made the process very simple. 10/10. Also Tony and Emily at the Swaffham branch are great. All very friendly and they are there for you across your house buying journey.

I found a rental property online and asked for a viewing. The property was located over 100 miles from my residence and as a consequence of this the employee said that they had a recent video of the property, she sent it to me and it looked amazing so I put in an offer. Contracts were exchanged and then on the day of moving the agency contacted me to inform me that the cooker had been condemned and had to be removed from the property and that the landlord was now refusing to buy a cooker and that they were not required to provide one. As you can appreciate at this stage I was very upset, however the agents said they would get back to the landlord to see if she would change her mind. The contracts had already been exchanged and the landlord was refusing to honour her side of the agreement on the moving day when the arrangements had been made and I had moved out of my current home. I would not use this company at all they have no common decency and to add salt to the wound I have to take them to court to get my money back for the E first months rent and deposit because they think that I should be held to the fixed term contract and be liable for paying the rent nevertheless! Do not trust this company!!!

Absolutely one of the worst/most useless agents I've dealt with. Poor communication, literally ignoring emails, canceling viewings last minute, terrible pictures, unprofessional, list goes on. Stay clear from this company if you want to sell your house in peace. I recommend Keystones in Romford if you're looking!

Do not use this estate agent. They did not act in our interest and quite openly attempted to bully us into selling our property at well under the market value. We had a ridiculous offer, which they just expected us to take. Zero effort made to push the property after the offer.

Richie was very personable and kept our information on file, so once a property came up to view that met our needs, he contacted us immediately. They were both extremely professional, friendly, and quick to respond to any queries we had. The best experience with estate agents we’ve ever had, hands down! Couldn’t recommend this team enough.

His dedication, knowledge, patience, and deep understanding of the market are remarkable. Joe worked side by side with us, and in times when the Bank Rates and Mortgage conditions were uncertain, he worked really hard to find the right rates for us. He also took his time to understand our needs as customers and find the perfect Mortgage and Insurance products for us. I would recommend to anyone working with William H brown Newmarket, and I would even recommend more working with Joe Gunn-Roberts.

We've found them to be friendly, knowledgable, and proactive. Their communication has been excellent and we feel like we're in great hands. We love the texting reminder for viewings; it saves you searching for a pen - and it can also be added to your phone calendar straight away which is so useful when you've got lots going on. Would definitely recommend to those looking for an estate agent!

GoogleI have booked time off work to view a property. I met with a an inexperienced young man. He wasn't even aware how to turn on the water in the bathroom and demonstrate shower pressure. Didn't follow through and contact me to advise my offer was rejected. (Had not opportunity to go up if I wanted) The broker was supposed to call me to discuss mortgage options that never happened...so can't really say anything good about my experience apart from wasted holiday and 5hr in total in commute on the train going to Newmarket from London and back. To add to this amazing experience I am emailed properties outside of my price range... Also there was zero denying to the point that I wasn't contacted for 48hr since I made offer until I chased!! Has my foreign sounding email address had anything to do with this, very likely as other couple was given preference and extra time to run through their finances while I wasn't worth a text or a call to say offer too low/rejected! Branch manager did apologize unfortunately that won't help me purchase a property within my budget. Notes made for the new joiner that I had viewing with.. splendid! I wouldn't advice on letting new joiner do viewings alone!!! Do not recommend... hopefully this will be posted!

Just poor on every level. Communciation has been abysmal from the start. I feel I have been lied to on several occasions and it is clear most members of staff don't give a damn. Avoid I have the great displeasure having to deal with these people over the last fortnight regarding a property I want to rent. There have been issues right off the bat, including an agent called George not turning up to a viewing because he forgot and it taking four days and six phonecalls for me to be told that no-one in the office I was calling was going to call me back and I needed to call elsewhere. No apologies offered at all. It got worse when I put in an offer on a property though. When I put in my offer I was asked some questions and these identified I would need someone to guarantee my lease. That's fine, I'd anticipated that and my parents were willing to do this for me. I dealt with an agent called Sam who called them before putting in my offer to ensure they would meet the criteria for a guarantor. At this point, or at any point during the process, Sam never gave any indication that they did not. This only came to light approximately a week before I was due to move in (my parents are semi retired and generate a portion of their income through investment property and the stock market. This was apparently unacceptable for a guarantor. Which would have been fine, if Sam had told them that from the start). We found a solution, where my parents would pay my first six months rent and I'd then rent from the landlord. I had to chase (approximately four phone calls) to get this answer from him and even then, I had send him back to renegotiate as he had not done this properly (he attempted to agree a six month lease when both me and the landlady wanted something longer). When putting in my offer, I had agreed to go into a zero deposit scheme and paid £250 in order to do this. The issue with the gaurantee also took my out of this scheme, although this was never communicated to me at all. If I had known, then I would have reconsidered my position. Because Sam did not mention the problem when it arose, I was not afforded this opportunity. The only warning I had that extra money was needed, came to light when the invoice arrived and they had stuck an additional £1200 onto the fees. The only possible inkling we had about this was a phone call from Sam about 20 minutes before the invoice was sent, which lasted for all of 30 seconds and briefly mentioned a deposit. Something that I thought had already been paid and had no reason to suspect otherwise. I want to be clear here, the fact I failed the checks is not the problem (I'm a recent university graduate moving from part time to full time work and separating from my partner. I'm not naive to the fact I do not look good on paper). The lack of communication and the lack of care from Sam and his director, Rachel is. They prevented me from making a decision with the full facts. I have been left feeling utterly lied to and like I have no choice but to find an additional insane amount of money or leave me and my children homeless. Salt was further rubbed into the wound as when I called Rachel to discuss this, she sadly decided to double down on the lie that Sam had discussed this deposit with me and implied I was making it up. I have emails to confirm this deposit was never mentioned. No apologies were forthcoming, just a shoulder shrug and an offer to refund my holding deposit as well as a sly comment that it's a landlord's market right now, which is just further confirmation of how little they value potential tenants. No property is worth having to deal with these people.

Do not use William H Brown they are the worst agent any one could get they never return your calls no good advice at all you do not hear from them at all and if you do there advice is totally wrong there staff are badly trained and give the wrong advice. I nearly lost my removal company on there advice which was totally wrong,but the removal company which is Relocate were brilliant and brought in an extra van on the day.the only good advice and updates were from the agent I was buying from Chris Deller they were excellent I could go on for hours but will not SO PLEASE DO NOT USE WILLIAM H BROWN if you do God help you

I found my letting agent to be brilliant Mr N Bourne and I prefer to only deal with him as I found him to be quiet honest and extremely fair, I don’t like dealing with other people in the office as they don’t seem to be able to keep to their word.
