FacebookRented student accommodation off this company. House was left dirty on move in day so cleaned it ourselves. On moving out charged £300 for a professional clean when it was left cleaner than when we move in. Spoke to new students that moved in after and surprise surprise they were happy with how the property had been left, and no professional clean completed.
Obviously just trying to earn extra cash off poor students. You should be ashamed of yourself.
And no I wouldn’t recommend Prem let’s.

GoogleHad the displeasure of Renting, as a student, with Prem Lets last year. Whenever we got in contact with Prem Lets over problems with our property we were met with passive aggressive emails. I once rang them about an issue we were having with our shower being stone cold, of which i was met with someone shouting at me down the phone that I should have reported the problem earlier. Any time anything went wrong with the property it was a begrudged feeling to know that we had contact Prem Lets as their response were never especially pleasant. Not a great experience for 5 first time renters.

GoogleThis is by far the worst letting agency I have ever dealt with. At the end of my tenancy they attempted to take unjustified and inflated deductions from my deposit without any proper evidence. They tried to charge for “professional cleaning” even though the property was spotless and then added extra charges for damage I do not believe I caused.
Communication was dismissive, confrontational and unprofessional. Instead of resolving issues fairly, they seemed more interested in finding any excuse to keep deposit money. I had to constantly chase for basic information and only then did they provide vague explanations that didn’t add up.
In my opinion, this agency takes advantage of tenants and does not act in good faith. If you rent from them, document EVERYTHING, take dated photos on day one, keep every email, and be ready to go through the Deposit Protection Service dispute process, because based on my experience, they will try to take money from you whether it’s justified or not.
I would never recommend this company to anyone. Rent elsewhere and save yourself the stress.

GoogleI have been renting with Prem-Lets since last September. My experience with the company has been extremely positive. The office staff and property manager are professionals, as well as extremely kind and understanding. They have dealt with any issues in a prompt manner. I would 100% reccomend Prem-Lets for any students, so much so that I have renewed my tenancy with the for the upcoming year!

FacebookHalf hearted job. Only provide one back door key, refuse to provide a kettle, microwave or hoover (every other estate agent I have ever used - student or professional - has always provided these essential items, most certainly a hoover).
Therefore there are lots of hidden costs to take into account.
Would love to be proven wrong and change my review, but Prem Lets has been largely uncooperative so far.

GoogleThis is still Heaton Properties. Rebranded due to their abysmal reviews and clear lack of competence. As a tenant you are left on hold with nobody ever actually answering. Emails are straight up ignored, multiple times have I emailed the office regarding important matters and they refuse to reply. Absolutely disgusting customer service in every way shape and form.
