GoogleJust moved out as a long standing tenant of Martin & Co for almost 7 years! They were amazing! They were very helpful right from the beginning when I relocated to New Milton from the midlands. They made my move both in & out of the property as smooth & simple as possible. Any maintenance issues were always resolved efficiently in super fast time frames! Mike is lovely very friendly & professional. Becky, Roy & Sharon all a fantastic team, very approachable & all friendly. I highly recommend Martin & Co New Milton after my top experience with them! Thank-you Martin & Co New Milton for making our time in The New Forest even more memorable!

GoogleAwful agency to deal with. They seriously do not care about the tenant as long as you pay rent and refuse to answer emails about issues that you may have while renting through them. Genuinly appaling. It took court threats to get any response about my issues and reimbursement for damages caused by their clear negligence of the problem at hand. I highly reccomend you stay the hell away from them. Never in my life did i think that i could be treated like this when i have a huge problem at hand.

Stay the hell away from them! As tenant I've been ignored for months about a silverfish infestation in the flat we're renting. The silverfish have caused over £500 in damages to my clothes in that time and ive spent over £100 on chemicals to kill them. It took court threats for anyone to bother coming by to see the flat. This agency is a joke and i hope this review deters you from doing any business with them. I really regret choosing this flat purely because of how poorly my partner and I have been treated

GoogleI wasn’t going to bother leaving this review, but our final experience with Martin & Co changed my mind… We were tenants and rented a property with Martin & Co for three years. The house was poorly maintained with the absolute minimum spent on it at every opportunity. We had a door with big gaps around it for almost the entire of our tenancy and during the winter would get water coming through the front door and wind blowing into the living room. Hard to know how much of this is the estate agent vs landlords fault to be fair but Martin & Co were our only contact. Between contracts for each of the years we were also threatened with eviction if we didn’t sign new agreements for increased rent (they would not allow a rolling contract). But after putting up with this, come the end of our tenancy, the house was nitpicked for every deposit deductible imaginable. Every back and forth email took days if not weeks and It took us nearly 2 months to get our deposit back - very frustrating. Unfortunately, as tenants, we don’t get to choose who the estate agent of a property you like is with, but just be aware that this is the kind of thing you might have to deal with Martin & Co.

I called several times to view a property as I was being made homeless due to the sale of the rented accommodation I was in. They told me they would get back to me every time I called but instead did not bother and the property went to someone else. It was the only property available and I was left homeless with a 3 year old for a short period of time as a result. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

GoogleAwful experience all round. I was told I would need to pay for a year up front to the landlady. I agreed and the agent told me they are looking at other tenants. The team never email or call back. They could not give a toss about anyone. Avoid this company.

GoogleWe had a bad experience renting out with the New Milton branch of this company. Very disorganised and unprofessional. If you're a tenant keep in mind that this company regards the landlord as their tenant and will do everything in the landlord's interest, not the tenant's. Not only that, after we vacated the property they opened our mail and didn't respond to our emails. Avoid.

GoogleFor 3 years we were tenants, renting our home through Martin & Co, New Milton. From day one all members of staff were friendly and helpful, any queries or repairs were dealt with promptly. We always felt they were looking after us as well as our landlord.

GoogleAvoid at all costs! I have been in the letting and property development business for over 30yrs. I have never come across such entitled, rude and obnoxious people. This team are extremely unhelpful. They couldn't care less about people or the service they provide. Steer clear.
