GoogleAs a resident in Motherwell, I'd noticed Fred Estate Agency as I found their branding/ signs more eye catching than most. Shortly after, a couple of my family members went on to use FRED to sell their home and provided me with very positive feedback afterwards. In January 2024 came my turn to contact FRED for a valuation of my property. Jamie brought upto date market knowledge of prices and the property and also provided me with advice regarding mortgage brokers and the process in general which was helpful. This agency stood out however due to their relaxed,honest and likeable approach- there was no phoning/ chasing or pressuring me into selling with them. Just an honest,laid back chat and then the space I needed to think it through. Once I marketed with FRED, they worked very efficiently - communicated well, the sign went up quickly , brochure and photography were superb and they nailed the viewings - my flat sold with one viewing and offer!( they had many other viewings booked in a short space of time.) On the day of completion, I met Donna for the first time who went the extra mile in terms of helping me further. I handed in the key to my property FRED had sold. Donna followed up by checking the status of my own house purchase, ringing my lawyer to politely remind them- funds were sent hours ago but I hadn't had any updates.. this resulted in my own lawyer hurrying along and I got my keys quicker to my property that day. I'd highly recommend FRED as your estate agent. 5*

I was delighted with the personal service that other larger estate agents simply don't offer from past experience. The quality of photos was fantastic as was the virtual tour, which made my house look look bright and spacious online. Jamie's advice was also honest and realistic. I had other estate agents promise me unrealistic figures at an equally expensive marketing cost, but Fred were reasonable and Jamie's knowledge of the market trends was spot on. He pitched my house at the perfect offers over amount, getting me above my target figure in less than a week. Donna's communication, viewer feedback and aftercare to negotiate the smaller details with my new buyer was 1st class. Thank you both. Delighted all round and would highly recommend.
