Lydia and her team at the Newport Pagnell office were very efficient and professional in dealing with the sale of my family home in Newport Pagnell. Especially sympathetic while I was still grieving following my father’s unexpected death. Not on the market very long at all. This office also handled the neighbours sale too very efficiently.

I used this company to manage my property in Hemel Hempstead. At the beginning, Stephen and Elliot were very convincing, but they did not clearly explain that there would be additional charges on top of the monthly management fee.

Massively inflated estimate that they wanted to "review" after 2 weeks into the listing, once the 6 months sole agency kicked in. The long list of ready buyers' contact details that the agent showed in the estimation meeting never trickled down to their list of introduced persons, so beware of that tactic too and don't waste your time with them.

Arranging the viewing with the Aylesbury branch was really easy, I called up and spoke with the agent and was booked in for a slot that was convenient for me the very next day. Sophie showed us around a lovely flat, she was super friendly and was able to answer all of our questions and was overall really helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Arranged a valuation of a rental property I am looking to sell in Bletchley for 2pm on 22/06/26 with Peter Flanders who didn’t show up and got zero response from the message I left with the office. Only communication was from an agent in the office who told me he had people interested in a house like mine…..amazing because they didn’t view it.

We had other viewings on that day with other companies and the other presenters were no where near her professionalism and understanding. She made the viewing very pleasant. Thank you

I asked for an evaluation.. this was fine.. no problems.. but I chose a different agent and now 4 months later they still regularly phone me up, once even saying "hello , this is your estate agent".. errr NO... they are abusing the fact that I gave them my number and now I cannot get rid of them.. Wish I had never done so. I am now apart of their ' any phone call is work' policy. B&M are owned by connels and the BBC has a page about their dubious sales tactics. They have a tv show about it also.

Be careful with this agency…the agents are asking for part of deposit to “check your references “and they will tell you that you don’t pass and you will lose the money .They don’t provide you with information about the rejection which I find normal to have because you pay for them.Agent name that I deal is Eliot…very kind but also very sharp when you ask about explanations

Despite their friendly and professional appearance, this company (Wendover branch) have proved to be all but incompetent in marketing our family home. Having redecorated the whole house to improve our sale potential, B & M failed to take any fresh photos of the house for 3 weeks! They then bungled the renewed photo set by mixing the previous photos with the new ones, making it visually a dogs dinner. Lastly the quality of the photographs was extremely poor - not highlighting any good features, not close enough, pictures of a floor, or focussing on a bed. Absolutely useless.

I just received call from them regarding my property that is on the market, the "young adult" that called me told me my photos are terrible and the marketing is really bad. when asked why, there of course, wasn't much of an answer. I just find this totally brazen and un-cooth to put down small independent agencies with no substance behind your claims that "your marketing is better" when it quite frankly, is definitely not.

Great experience with brown&merry. Professional, responsive, and made the process smooth from start to finish. Never disappointed in answering queries and arranged a second viewing for us along with the kids, as they wanted to see the house we were buying.
