GoogleUnprofessional and irresponsible agent This company let and was supposed to manage my property.. The tenant, who was the daughter of a personal firend of one of the agents was a drug addict who paid no rent for the 5 months she lived there. She finally vacated after a court order was taken out, leaving the property trashed with thousands of pounds of damage. When I complained to the company they took no responsibility and also let another property to the same tenant who cost me somewhere in the region of £5000 in unpaid rent and damages. In my opinion and personal experience this company has acted unprofessionally, negligently and irrresponsibly and I seriously urge you not to let your property with them

We appreciate this was a difficult situation and we have not charged any management fees or other fees incurred for changing the locks etc. We did all that we could to help the landlord with all of her requests and moved the tenant to another property as quickly as possible so not to hold up the sale, the tenant is not the daughter of a personal friend but a client of the company. The landlord did not ask for rent guarantee to be put against the tenant and as a estate agents we are not liable for rent unpaid or damage to the property, which the landlord should be able to claim for on her insurance. We do also believe that the costs have been inflated a great deal.

GoogleNEMS has handled our rentals houses for over 10 years in a professional manner looking after both the tenants and landlords safety and legal requirements. We began by handling the repairs and refurbishments between tenants ourselves but now NEMS arrange all of that for us resulting in a quicker turnaround and all done to the correct standards. NEMS are easy to contact and handle our questions and requests quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them to both long term landlords and tenants.

I have found them both to be very professional and extremely helpful at all times, they are very thorough in their vetting of potential tenants trying to obtain a good fit for our rentals. I was recommended by another landlord to use this company and have also recommended them to others.

I have had various letting agents in the past and North East are by far the best. Totally trustworthy and sort any issues out as soon as they possibly can. Highly recommended.
