Great all-round experience had when selling my cottage. The communication was timely, friendly and informative. It made selling the place as easy as it could have been. Although the property didn’t sell at the first auction I was presented with options afterwards as to how best to proceed and then the following month at the very next auction it sold for a great price. Fantastic result and friendly service ( and great aftercare’ help communicating with the buyer on a couple of questions that were quicker to deal with like that than via solicitors) that made the whole experience so easy and I felt that the team really looked out for my best interests. Thank you!

Avoid..It’s not the valuation === more waffle. Chris said he had a list of property developers/ builders to buy this property….Steven explain they did not …No viewings. No bids . No sale …Chris tells lies and waffles…Beware….. now my property has a red mark against it online …as unsold ……bad news …What a waste of time…The only advertising they do is put your property on Rightmove. And they charge you £250 or £500 for this plus 2% including taxes on the sale price ..Full of promise then full of waffle….Avoid…Ring round estate agent’s in the area as no one has a good word about how Chris works … He agrees a high reserve price then as no marketing is done so no response they want to lower the sales price I had no sale as not one viewing, not one bid ..just a load of waffle…
Hello Richard, We are really disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with the result on auction day. Unfortunately valuing a property, especially when we are aiming to sell things in just 4 weeks is not an exact science and sometimes we get it wrong. In this instance it does seem as though the price recommended was too high. I would like to stress that this is very rare as we have one of the highest average success rates of any auctioneer in the country. The auction that your property was entered into achieved a success rate of 93% and these results can be viewed on the following link: https://www.auctionhouse.co.uk/westyorkshire/auction/past-auctions All our properties benefit from some of the most extensive marketing campaigns around and are listed on Rightmove, Zoopla, On The Market, Auction House UK and Manning Stainton websites. They also feature on our social media, mailshots and include floor plans, internal photographs and virtual tours. Your property also benefited from everything mentioned but sadly we just couldn’t get any bids on the day. We would be happy to enter your property into a 2nd auction at no extra charge but if this is not acceptable, we wish you every success in the future.

Spoke to a nice lady about selling a flat, she promised me the local auctioneer would call me back. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back on that occasion.However, Auction House have since reached out to me to apologise for the breakdown in communication which was much appreciated. Having double checked, I never did receive a voice message or call, but mistakes can happen, and they have been very professional in all interactions I have had with them to-date.

Cheaters scammers disgusting people. Most of the properties they have sold already in other biggest auctions for very very cheap prices and not sold on top of it too much hidden charges .I don't understand which way without fake bidding they are selling it in this auction. I don't understand.

It is essential that all customers planning to buy at auction perform their own due diligence which includes thoroughly inspecting the legal pack and understanding what additional fees may apply to the the purchase. I have previously brought a flat with Auction House UK.So had no hesitation when I saw a property for sale with them again. They are very professional, and it is a quick and easy process. Instead of waiting for weeks with an estate agent. You know when the date of the auction is, if you are successful then you know that in two to four weeks the house will be yours.

I placed my flat with Auction House Sussex after nearly a year of struggling to sell it via traditional methods. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I got. From the first contact, they were helpful and professional, clearly explaining the process and the pros and cons of selling via auction with absolutely no hard sell or pressure to go with them. While the property was on the market, they handled viewings professionally with minimum disruption to me, and always providing clear feedback quickly after the viewing. When I received pre-auction offers, they did a great job of handling the negotiations, and I ended up with a sale price far better than I could have anticipated. They then managed the final details up until the transfer of funds and handover of keys, making it all as easy and painless as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We approached The Auction House to act for us on the sale of our complicated property / barn complex. I could not fault their services. They worked alongside us and our solicitor and we got a fantastic results all done and dusted in 6 weeks. Bryan Baxter is exceptionally personable as is his team. We put our complete trust in them all and it was well worth it.
