I used the Sheffield Branch to sell my house and was very impressed from start to finish. Everybody was extremely helpful especially the branch manager Josh. When I sent a question round to various sellers on rightmove about my house he was the only one that took the time to contact me and respond. Also he kept me up to date at every stage and supplied feedback after every viewing. Excellent work and would highly recommend them.

Me and my partner are currently buying a property through Hannah at Merryweathers and they have been nothing short of excellent. Everything so far has been so smooth and the communication has been spot on and miles ahead of local competition.Our mortgage is also being done via them through Sharon Bristow and her assistant Katrina and they have been so helpful, super efficient, speedy and found us a great deal.So far I couldn't think of a better agent and people to deal with.Highly recommend for both buying and mortgages.

Has anyone else experience the same. ??????????I placed a offer on a property last week and I didn’t receive a confirmation email of offer to vender. AND this was “4 days before another person placed there offer”I’ve placed offers with other agents over the passed 6 months on other property’s with movetomove and ELR and I received emails of offer to vender straight away from both agents. It’s something esatate agent have to do to prove offer has been sent to the seller. Ive also been passed onto another lady in the office who I think is playing with peoples offers to get more commission before even ringing the vender. I could be wrong but if no email confirmation offer to vender has been sent to the new wanting to buy purchaser then what are we supposed to think. No information either unless I call that’s not good. I remember placing a offer on a property about 8 years ago with merry weathers And I’ve still not heard anything back from that either. Good job the agent that sold me my home Barton’s kept me up to date and sent me confirmation offer email or I’d be still living with parents.

GoogleEnquired MULTIPLE times about viewing a property but didn’t get any response whatsoever. So rang to possibly arrange a viewing, said they’d be back in touch and never heard anything again. Clearly don’t want to sell the properties they are advertising

From a new tenant perspective, our whole experience has been littered with disappointment. In a few short weeks, we have waited 30 minutes for a pre-arranged viewing which had been forgotten, presented with scans of scans of official documents, received an unobservant inventory of the property and met with disinterest when we presented an issue, then finally discovered an error that had been made changing the energy supplier by mistake. Here's to hoping things go more smoothly...

GoogleThe estate agent lied when asked if workmen had been in my late mums property after being told by neighbours they had. When they did admit they did they advised they again lied saying they got permission from the executor. When advised they had not they then did admit they had workmen in but they didn't need permission for this. When asked for the keys back while completion was done as we didn't trust them not having ppl in the property they refused to give the keys back. They valued the house then put a reserve of £10k under the top evaluation. My advise if they sell by modern auction always check the reserve at least hits the value of the property. Double check everything with them as they are quite sneaky. I won't use them or recommend using them.

I’m absolutely appalled at my treatment these past few months by merryweathers. I’ve been renting a furnished flat for 18 months… after a few broken appliances and promises of repairs I decided I had had enough and handed in my notice. My fridge freezer (that was here when I moved in) broke last month, as a full time working single mum that lives hand to mouth I obviously don’t just have a few hundred pounds laying around to go out and purchase a brand new one. I contacted the estate agents and the landlord basically said he couldn’t help me on that one, along with a broken oven that I’ve been waiting for to be fixed for over a month. I have always paid my rent in full and on time. However I had to make a decision to pay my rent or buy a new appliance in order to keep food in my 3 year old daughters mouth. Obviously I chose the latter as anyone would. They even had the cheek to tell me after the landlord refused to replace it that “if I bought a new one I wouldn’t have to leave it when I left” well obviously? I wouldn’t have weather I was told I could or not!Long story short I had a very rude phone call today from Collette. I told her I would be able to pay next week when I get paid as I physically did not have the money in my account right now, she didn’t even let me explain my circumstances before actually SHOUTING at me down the phone, saying do you think we would make you wait a week for your bond back. I’m a 27 year old woman with enough going on and do not need some woman shouting at me down the phone because my rent is going to be a week and half late! I’m actually disgusted at how this woman spoke to me today when I asked for her name she told me Collette and repetitively told me she was the manager. Probably knowing I was to lodge a complaint. I’m sorry but just because your the manager does NOT give you the right to speak to people, especially paying customers, however you see fit. Stick your bond where the sun don’t shine, I’ll have the keys back to you asap and will ensure I and anyone else I encounter NEVER use merryweathers ever again. Maybe take a quick minute in future to think about how tough some people may have it at the moment before adding any more stress into their lives. Absolutely disgusting.
