GoogleI originally went to Brearley and Rich because they had sold another property which I used to live in. At the outset Matthew provided the right advice to achieve a sale and the completion of our family house in the timescale we were looking for. Both Matthew and Jonathan were courteous and professional throughout the transaction and were able to step in when any issues arose. Based on my experience of using Brearley and Rich I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Selling a house these days is less about getting noticed - Rightmove does that - it’s about the details that get the sale over the line, and Jonathan was on it from start to finish. Paired with Merrimans solicitors, you have a strong team in your corner.

GoogleBrearley & Rich have been brilliant. I recently purchased a property in Aldbourne and worked almost exclusively with Jonathan throughout the process. He was exceptional from start to finish - professional, communicative, and made what can often be a stressful experience feel completely smooth and straightforward. On completion day, I was even greeted with a really nice welcome bag containing a bottle of bubbly - a thoughtful touch. The rest of the team were equally friendly and welcoming. He is, at all times, the consummate professional and certainly the best estate agent I have ever encountered. He and his small team provide a highly personalised service and maintain great communications throughout what can be quite a stressful buying, selling and moving process. Jonathan is an expert in the local area housing market, and provides excellent, realistic advice and expectation management. GoogleWe instructed Brearley & Rich after being on the market for 6 months with a different estate agent. We were immediately impressed by their professionalism, as they made a difficult process as easy as it could be for us. For example, after every viewing, we had feedback within the hour, without having to chase them to request it. GoogleIn a difficult environment and market, Johnathan was incredibly patient and trustworthy which is worth a lot when trying to sell your house. He kept in touch and was careful to ensure only genuine buyers viewed the property. In a sales process that, in my opinion, suffers from appalling communication throughout, Jonathan was the only person who kept the channels of communication open and who could tell us exactly what we needed to know - and all with a good sense of humour. Jonathan regularly went the 'the extra mile' to not only ensure our 'occasionally wobbly' sale went through, but was a reassuring font of knowledge when we came up with problems on the property we were buying. They are genuine people who care about providing a professional service. • The house details were prepared to a high standard quickly. • Jon Rich was involved in all stages of the process. Including meeting prospective buyers. His knowledge and experience proved crucial in selling our house. • For this reason, they sold our house after only 2 viewings, and this was after it had been on previously and not sold. • Even though we were at the top of the chain for 5 houses, Jon was in contact with all stages of the chain and kept us well informed. If we had any questions, they were always answered promptly.
