GoogleHaving been a client of around 25 estate agents over the years I'm afraid to say Haart's March branch offered one of the poorest experiences, and I did communicate that to the staff. However, some 4 months after the sale of my property they've emailed me to ask for a review, so here it is. Haart charges double the commission of other agents in the area, but as far as I can tell offers no extra value. Communication was poor, with emails going unanswered for weeks and in one case months at a time, despite my chasing; some emails were not responded to at all. If I left phone messages I was seldom called back within 24 hours. I have just re-read one email asking for an update, which notes that I tried calling their office six times on one particular day, with no answer and no facility to leave a message. On other occasions one was put through to a 'concierge service', a central call centre which took calls but had no information to provide. On one occasion whilst the property was on the market I enquired about feedback from viewings and was told that many of the people they'd shown round were 'dreamers' and not capable of proceeding with a purchase, so I do question their screening of buyers. I finally accepted a low offer on the basis that the buyers didn't need a mortgage and could move quickly; in the event they had somewhere to sell, that sale fell through and it took them six months to get to exchange of contracts - though I realise this was outside Haart's control. However it was representative of Haart's service that, the offer having been accepted on 19th December, Haart didn't email the memorandum of sale to my solicitor until 10th January. During the sale process the coronavirus lockdown happened; the local staff were furloughed and my sale was temporarily handled by a regional office. The contact there was excellent! Friendly, knowledgeable, proactive and always returned calls. If that way of working were replicated in the March branch, this would probably have been a 5-star review. As an aside, the emailed request from Haart that I received today for a review was not blind copied - it was a blanket email to people who were presumably other clients, and who can now see each other's email addresses. A minor point but not good practice, and somewhat representative of my experience of this agent. On the plus side, the team were always polite and friendly. It could be that they are unaware of how poorly their service compares to other agents, or I could just have been unlucky. The residential branch manager comes across as warm, likeable and a great salesman. He also takes very good property photographs.NegativeResponsiveness, Value

The customer service is superb, my husband and I were always kept in the loop about the stage of our sale by Jack who was always friendly and so helpful. I never felt stressed or worried. Would always use this company when trying to sell future homes.

GoogleDon't sell your house through Haart in March. I m looking for property in the area but now don't even bother enquiring if it's listed with Haart as I know I'll just be wasting my time. They never answer the phone. They never call you back.
Hi Si, very sorry to see you have left us a 2 star review. Our automotive call back system has tried to contact you but we have not had any response. We do have a concierge service that does capture any calls that come through while we are either out on appointments of on the phone, a call will be answered between 8am - 10pm 7 days a week.
