GoogleAbsolutely terrible experience with WT Gunsons (Didsbury, Barlow Moor Road)
The management and service here are completely unacceptable.
Their cleaners removed our chairs from the hallway claiming “fire safety issues,” even though they were placed there temporarily during moving and were not obstructing anything. We were given no notice at all. If we had been informed, we would have removed them immediately.
When I called to resolve the situation, the lady on the phone I spoke to was rude and dismissive, showing no willingness to help. I explained clearly that we were not notified and asked if we could recover the items (as we would be charged by the landlord), but she refused to assist in any way.
It gets worse, their cleaners were also throwing away letters without any permission. I was expecting important post (including visa-related documents), and the thought that these could have been discarded is honestly alarming and completely irresponsible.
There was also another incident where I temporarily left boxes outside while moving, and instead of handling it professionally, a cleaner blocked my door and left rude, passive-aggressive notes. Completely unprofessional behaviour.
Overall, this place is managed poorly, communication is shocking, and the attitude towards residents is disrespectful. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before dealing with this company.

I am sorry you have had a bad experience, if you could please give me a call so that we can discuss this further as the cleaners (who are independent contractors) do not remove furniture and items from communal areas, neither do they have access to and remove post.
Communal areas in blocks of apartments have to remain sterile as part of fire safety requirements but items would never be removed without notices being placed on them in advance and a minimum of 7 days notices being provided. We are unaware of any items being removed recently and therefore if you can please contact me I will be happy to discuss this further. Kind regards Lauren

GoogleI can’t recommend these guys enough. We dealt with Neale Sayle and Josh Hill-both consummate professionals, yet also very approachable and friendly. Unfortunately for us, our preferred buyer was a little tricky to deal with timescale-wise, but the offers we had ( quite a few in short succession, no thanks to their book of buyers and their brilliant marketing) were all processed and sifted out swiftly. Our expectations were managed at all times
and we were very happy with the outcome. I think communication is key in any business and they did not fall short on this, often making themselves available out of office hours either by phone or text. This kind of approach is invaluable in this market, especially when you are dealing with individuals who don’t always operate 9-5. We did our research before deciding on WT Gunson and they were heads and shoulders above the rest, so it was a no-brainer all day long.

GoogleA very frustrating company who have promised to have our satellite dish and aerials refitted due the wonderful scaffolding company inexplicably taking them down a month ago.
So many excuses,broken promises and in general a lack of consideration for the tenants here.
Yet again another deadline passed this morning where we were told that the scaffolding would be removed (yet again) plus the satellite dish that refitted.

GoogleReported a major bees nest over a year ago and nothing has been done. We're expected to live with a swarm of bees outside the window, unable to open the windows, because removing the nest is 'too costly'.
Last update from 5 months ago is: 'The nest is deeply rooted in the building fascia and will be very costly to remove , the directors have all been made aware of this.'
Unacceptable. Little to no respect for tenants. Video attached!

We are sorry you are disappointed with the current situation. As you are already aware, W T Gunson do not have the authority to undertake the removal without client instructions. Once we have instructions we can proceed, however until then we are unable to instruct works. Due to the height of the nest and location inside the roof void, the removal is complex and the clients are therefore considering the best options of dealing with this.

Very prompt, professional outfit who considered our interests (as well as their clients interests) in the very best way. The deal was agreed in principle prior to Covid lockdown and they were sensible enough to give both parties time and space to ensure the deal remained suitable all whilst the world turned on its head and to allow us to focus on our core business without distractions.
