I booked a property viewing for 9:30am and went out of my way to accommodate the estate agent's schedule. Rearranged my plans, travelled over an hour to get there, and even arrived 15 minutes early. After waiting 30 minutes with no sign of anyone, I called the office, only to be told they’d booked the wrong time and could no longer fit me in. There was no real effort to resolve the issue or offer an alternative, just a quick “sorry.” It felt like they had no regard for my time. This was an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience, and a complete waste of my morning. I will not be doing any business with Roger Hannah in the future and will advise friends and colleagues looking buy/rent or sell for commercial real estate to avoid them as well.

I cannot recommend Roger Hannah for commercial valuations. We engaged a RICS surveyor from Roger Hannah to carry out a commercial land lease valuation (costing £1,500), unfortunately their figures were remarkably wide of the mark. They undervalued our position by approximately 50% compared to the actual market rate we secured independently. If we had followed their advice, we would have lost significant revenue over the next 10 years! Invoiced and paid, but their service was entirely unhelpful."

Very disappointing experience. Management and staff do not seem to have a clear understanding of their responsibilities, and communication is extremely poor. Emails go unanswered, which is completely unprofessional. As a customer spending thousands, I expect to be properly served and communicated with. Based on this experience, I would not recommend.

Amazing service, I cannot fault Robyn Egan and the team! From moving into our unit space in December, and then subsequent move into a larger space, Robyn and the team at Roger Hannah have made the process seamless. Our main point of contact from the start has been Robyn, and her communication is outstanding. During the larger unit move, there were a couple of issues (completely due to the previous tenant). When I raised these to Robyn, she was incredibly efficient, contacting all the relevant persons to ensure these were resolved quickly. I cannot fault her customer service, work ethic and professionalism. I very much look forward to continue working with Robyn, and Roger Hannah. Thank you. Worst Company Stay Clear!!

I have bought and sold many properties but this was the worst experience i ever had. I was very interested in one of the properties i contacted RH and was forwarded to the guy name DAN from there went to see the property liked it and accepted the offer was told to send some documents and did that and no update for a week called back and he did not even knew who i was and asked me to send the offer again which i did. Again no update called nearly everyday and was Dan is in a meeting or not in the office and will call me back but never recieved a call from him. Stay very clear of this company and specially the agent name Dan Rogers.

I Have rented a unit through Roger Hannah for the past 4 and a half years. All i can say is if you're thinking of renting a unit managed by these cowboys DONT! You will be absolutely crushed financially by them, lied to by them, and spoken to like your garbage. They will tie you up in knots legally and keep throwing bills at you until you have nothing left and are forced to close the business you've spent so much time and money building. I can't stress how bad these guys are, they know you're a small business and can't afford to fight them in court, and they'll use that to their advantage without remorse. I'm sure if someone had the funds to take them on they would uncover a web of wrong doing. I've lost thousands to these don't make the same mistake.

I personally would not like to leave negative reviews, feedback or comments. But I’m really sorry to say , I don’t think if the Roger Hannah commercial estate agent , is a very reliable company. Because We have found quite few places and properties, that we could have start investing into and working ! But unfortunately it did not happen and we have lost our chances, opportunities and basically wasted our time. As some of the Roger Hannah staffs were not replying back to us on time or they were just ignoring our calls , emails or messages, so then we have to wait for them, for so long to respond back . Or however they were either asking for some useless and irrelevant information ! And there was a gentleman, Dan who’s always very busy person and doesn’t have time to respond . However I have to thank a lady who called, Maxine and she was very nice and helpful .

"Ruthlessly Avaricious." Masters of 'Sharp practice'. Prey on vulnerable people who want to work. Always ask for documentation on verbal agreements. Always pay a good commercial law firm to examine their leases and correspondence....then an even better surveyor (they will save you a lot of money in the long run - usually with these people, keep right means put right!)...even better, no matter how much you think you need their premises to create your dream......Walk away or you will live to regret it - usually after being patronised, bullied or spoken to like something they've just stepped in! Don't say you weren't warned! But if you think that your business can pay their ever increasing rents - (usually substancially more than the RV), insurance, and repair their buildings to better than when you moved in, then crack on! Their accreditations mean nothing to them and so should mean even less to you. The laws protect landlords from rubbish tenants, but don't protect good tenants from people like these - after you've signed on that dotted line. If all landlords were like these, small businesses would be decimated - oops! have you looked at your local high street recently? - And these people blame business rates!

We booked a viewing easy enough with this company, but then it went downhill from there. The basic communication is shocking and it feels like they sit on their hands until a deal slaps them in the face. We offered full asking on a property they are listing and didn’t hear back until a week later, and only because we had to chase and make contact. Only then did we get told that they had sent an email asking for a best and final offer by that Wednesday. 4 days after this date (we didn’t know about as the email was not received). if an email was so important, surely a phone call checking we had received it was just as important, also as we had missed this date to offer you would think the property is under offer? No, still available so that best and final email was completly pointless. Then it was a further week plus down the line, waiting to then be told the vendor went for another buyer. 3 weeks from our offer, start to finish resulted in a complete waste of time and energy. Maybe this company should focus on picking up the phone and having real conversations with real people and not hiding behind emails. The kicker is the property is still showing available on the market, so their is some funny business going on either with the agent, vendor or both. £3 for a land registry search will give any buyer more information than wasting weeks with this outfit.

They just wasted my time!!!! I had to wait two weeks for a simple answer,wich was a negative one after all. I called them for a unit asked them if my business is suitable for that unit,they said yes and after a week my business wasn't accepted by landlord in that unit,but been offered other one instead in same industrial estate,but after another week i was not accepted in the second unit too!!! So thank you PS: don't deal with them,they are useless,I called them and all the time i had to wait two days to get a call back.

I rented a unit in Compstall Mill, Stockport and close to the end on my lease I found out the the unit I was renting was not safe. Roger Hannah fail to tell me that the electrical system was unsafe before I moved in and now that I'm liable for the repair. Roger Hannah leased this commercial unit to me without a fixed wire report. I commissioned my own fixed wire test and found out the unit was not safe and should not had been let out to me in the first place. They're also trying to claim £2.7k in dilapidation costs, stating the unit needed redecoration and repair, these are blatant lies and the unit is in the same state if not better and definitely in a clearner state from when I first took the unit / lease. They have failed to provied electrical fix wire safety certificates and other documents. Over the term of my lease Roger Hannah have been very inconsistent and very slow to react to my requestes. I will contest these charges and will update my review accordingly

I requested Roger Hannah to do a delaps and measured survey of a large commercial building in Greater Manchester. I am very happy with their service. I originally had difficulty getting a surveyor to do this work and just googled Roger Hannah. I will stick with Roger Hannah for the remainder of my work on this building. Service was excellent, product was very good, they did what they said they would do and when they would do it. No complaints. I thought pricing was also reasonable and I paid same day as received the invoice.

The worst property experience ever!

We rented a lock up from this company for one year. On taking the property, we pointed out a number of faults to the member of Roger Hannah's staff who showed us the unit.eg. the gas meter had been disconnected. We were told " Just leave it there." On resigning the lease after one year, the property was not inspected with us present and once an inspection was carried out over a month later, we eventually received a bill for over £5000K plus VAT. This amounted to a sum the same as a further year's rent and was for property repairs and cleaning including many of the faults we had pointed out on taking the lease, including very unreasonably, WASHING the brickwork outside and the roof; £800 plus VAT for carrying out the inspection and an amount of £400 for negotiating with us. We ensured that we left the unit EXACTLY as we had received it with no cleaning necessary. We had to engage a solicitor to fight our corner and his opinion was that the lease was unfair. We ended up paying £2500 to the solcitor as well as almost £4000K to Roger Hannah. They have ensured that their leases are watertight and place an unreasonble burden on the lessee. We feel we were well and truly caught in their trap and would strongly advise others to avoid this company.
