Overall a good experience

Overall, a positive experience. Not quite as slick as promised. Was told I would be appointed a person to be my single point of contact, who would remain with me until the house sold. It started really well. Lola was appointed to be my personal contact. She was on annual leave for the first week but Rhianna was still available. I was contacted by Lola, back from holiday but have not spoken with her since. 2 calls from people about in house solicitor service. Great value, speeds things up. Done. Then Max took up the reins. He has been great and we have moved to an offer.

Once the price was agreed, Olivia took over and was outstanding throughout. She kept me updated, chased answers to queries and worked tirelessly to keep the sale moving. Without her persistence, I honestly think we would still be another month away from completion. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Outstanding

Our property was on the market with a local estate agent for some time, but we were not kept informed about whether potential buyers were in a position to purchase, and we received no feedback after viewings despite our efforts to follow up. Initially, I was hesitant to use Express, but I am so pleased that we did. The house was sold within a week of being listed, and I found the online portal to be very informative. Ryan Dillon was outstanding; he secured a sale at the asking price and provided regular updates by phone throughout the process. I would highly recommend Express Estate Agents, as their level of service exceeded my expectations, even though they were not a local agency.

Honest and helpful

GDPR Rule Breakers

This company is unbelievable. After complaining about them breaching my previous estate agents contract by advertising early they have now responded to my Trustpilot review by saying 'if i am a genuine customer of theirs, then please call and talk to a manager'. I called and they greeted me by calling me by my first name, how have they still got my personal details after asking them to delete my account in line with GDPR. This company cannot be trusted to apply by any legal rules.

Terrible experience from start to…

Terrible experience from start to finish. I was talked into putting our house on the market by on of their sales agents, despite the fact I told her it was a bad time to sell, I was assured that they were selling lots of properties and should put it on. During the time we were on the market we had one viewing with no feedback. I tried countless times to reach our “dedicated agent “ who mostly ignored my emails and calls. When I finally asked them to take it off the market, it took 10 days to get it off rightmove. Then they emailed me telling me if we sell in the next three months, we will owe them the full commission. My advice would be to steer well clear of this awful firm

I was totally taken in and reading other blogs on this company I should have cancelled when I could.all the promises never materialised and basically conned. What there act is to promise the earth and under price your house to get a cheap sale quickly but all there interested in is there commission full stop .do not trust them at all a complete bag of cheats and that's being nice .

Our sale fell through

Our sale fell through - 2 weeks later I still haven’t heard a peep from them apart from a text suggesting we reduce the price again! Very disappointing especially when 90 days ago they were confident they could sell our house in 30 days!!

The worst estate agent I’ve ever used

The worst estate agent I’ve ever used, terrible communication, Anderson Bailey eventually stopped replying to my emails. Out of interest I submitted an enquiry to see what a potential buyer got (answer - nothing, no phone call no follow up at all). We had one viewing who turned up at our door without us being told. Despite only ever having one viewing with them in our final email from Anderson apparently there were 5 people to whom they introduced the property, one of whom was myself who was never contacted, but clearly there were 3 other leads who never converted. Useless company, don’t waste your time like we did

Not sure id recommend

Not sure id recommend. They dont do the viewings, they take an extortionate fee, theyre majorly behind on progress, theyd always ring me days or even weeks later with information I already knew. I dont think theyre any better than a high street agent.

Lied to us about other offers put on…

Lied to us about other offers put on the house we were trying to buy. Lied more. When I complained they said we lied. Luckily the ombudsman agreed with us. Wouldn’t use and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Liars
