I cannot recommend Willow Green highly enough. All the staff are helpful and professional but also went above and beyond, with help getting in tradesmen as well as organizing and sorting out last minute snags. I wasn't always the easiest to get hold of by phone but they communicated promptly by text, portal and email, as well as helping getting documentation to the solicitor and buyer. I have used Willow Green previously and they remain consistent in their aim to deliver an excellent service. Thank you for all your help.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience selling my home through Willowgreen Estate Agents. After only making two appointments with two Estate Agents. Lisa the owner of Willowgreen was delighted with my property and couldn’t have been more complementary and was completely honest with me, with what she thought I would get for my house and what we should put the property on the market for. I had heard from other people that Willowgreen overpriced certain houses, not in my case. I finally received £35k more than what the other Agent advised! Selling a house can be daunting, but Ted and the rest of the team at Willowgreen made the journey seamless. Ted went above and beyond with his proactive, communication, photos, and brilliant handling of potential buyers. In my case, my house sold on the first day of viewing after being advertised for one day!! I moved from North Yorkshire to East Yorkshire, therefore did not require Willowgreen’ s services to purchase my new property. I would 100% recommend Willowgreen to anyone, which I have!

Lisa and her team and amazing, from selling our property and then purchasing our new home, theirs nothing this team won’t do to ensure you have a smooth process. We saw our now home and immediately offered but our house wasn’t on the market, Francesca came straight round gave us advice and two days later had been to take photographs of our property, our house had hit the open market that night as she worked late into the night! She then called the following day with an interested buyer to come view our property that afternoon and they offered on our home. Francesca had worked through the night taking the job home with her to get the sale agreed and went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank her enough. Her detailing is exceptional. Communication was amazing and even handy they have a premises in the heart of Malton to be able to pop in for them to answer and questions we had. I know we wouldn’t go anywhere else when it comes to selling. This business is worth their weight in gold

I didn't sell with Willowgreen but did buy a property they were selling, and we do love our house. But buying through Willowgreen was a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the staff were friendly, the final transaction went fine, they helped push the sellers' solicitors along when needed, and they arranged for a few things to be fixed for us. On the other hand, the communication errors were pretty significant overall and left us unnecessarily stressed and upset. The staff were always very friendly and we have considered that the sellers themselves were not particularly helpful in providing Willowgreen with information, judging by their paperwork we received, I don't think they knew anything about the property they were selling so the estate agents didn't have much to go on. Despite this, due diligence and research probably should have been done. If anything this should be a learning curve. ​Upon our first viewing we were told the property had no maintenance fees (which we stated was a dealbreaker as soon as we walked in the door on all our viewings with all estate agents so we didn't get our hopes up), only for our solicitor to find out during our Report on Title that it did. We were then debating pulling out of the sale altogether, which would have wasted everyone's time. We were also given three completely different stories regarding the nature of the sale by different staff members, landlord selling up, probate property, and a divorcing couple. Also we, personally, made sure exchange was delayed much to our frustration because we were told the bifold doors were broken and being fixed repeatedly, only to find out months later that no one on the team actually knew how to operate them and they were fine all along. Which was great, but we did put a low offer in based on that so the sellers might not have been best pleased. It's also worth noting that weekend viewing availability was poor for full-time workers. While we love our new home, the path to get here had unnecessary stress due to misinformation.

Brilliant from start to finish. We were moving to Yorkshire from Warwick so requested to view 5 different properties over one weekend. Lisa was fantastic organising the viewings and took the stress out of the experience. I came across the comments and scores on Google and had to comment as there is a real difference between fantasy and reality and accuracy and service delivery. Willowgreen you failed us as a family. Terrible agent, did not put the customer first and then brought their personal life into work. I could not recommend this estate agent - Absolutely not!!! Communication (including pricing) was the biggest let down as we as the sellers were doing all the chasing (and a lot more) and the buyer seemed to receive all the best treatment from the agent where as us very little. If I could give zeros stars I would because not once did they as a business ever try looking from our perspective) as their customer). We as a family trusted you as a company and you let us down badly with so much uncertainty and miscommunication. One thing we have learnt is don’t be swept away with the highest price given to you by an estate agent when they value your property. Consider this review a toned down review (as I could have said so much more) of how pathetic their services were for us working with this agent nearly cost us our marriage but it didn’t and lessons learnt avoid this agent. In our words at the time it was pure chaos from this agent. Summer / Autumn 2025 - update: we were your customers. Given the discrimination we faced in your town I chose not to publish my full name and circumstances which is my right. Respect that and our privacy. A little perspective I felt compelled to leave a review after reading a duplicated very negative comment because having seen first-hand how Willowgreen operate, the picture being presented simply doesn't reflect the team I know. Willowgreen are an exceptionally hardworking, professional and genuinely caring estate agency. The people who work there put an enormous amount of time, patience and effort into helping their clients, often dealing with incredibly stressful and complicated situations that are entirely outside of their control. What particularly strikes me about the recent review is the suggestion that the agent was responsible for an entire family's experience and, incredibly, that the process “nearly cost” the sellers their marriage. Buying or selling a house can undoubtedly be stressful. Chains collapse, valuations don't meet expectations, solicitors have delays, buyers change their minds and personal circumstances can become extremely complicated. Estate agents are often right in the middle of all of it, trying to keep everyone moving in the same direction. But an estate agent cannot control every part of a transaction, and they certainly cannot reasonably be held responsible for the breakdown of a relationship or the personal circumstances surrounding a sale. What they can control is how they behave, how hard they work and how professionally they deal with people. From everything I have seen, Willowgreen do that exceptionally well. I have seen how much this team cares about the people they work with. They are patient, responsive, hardworking and prepared to go far beyond what is strictly required of them to try to get a sale over the line. They also have to deal with difficult conversations and extremely challenging situations while remaining professional, even when that professionalism isn't necessarily reciprocated. The sheer number of positive reviews from buyers, sellers and tenants describing the same qualities isn't insignificant. People repeatedly mention the team's kindness, communication, support, determination and willingness to go the extra mile. That consistency says considerably more about an estate agent than one or two highly emotive accounts. I think it's also worth remembering that there are real people behind these businesses. Staff shouldn't have to become the emotional punching bag for the stresses surrounding somebody else's house sale. Willowgreen have earned their excellent reputation through the way they consistently treat their clients, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. Five stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I contacted Willowgreen estate agents Malton, N.Yorks about a property. The manager/owner a woman called me back. What a KAREN. She was codescending and seriously lacking in any sales or customer service skills. Absolutely useless, knew nothing about the property or area and just directed me to the website. DO YOUR JOB ! I WOULDNT BUY A DUSTBIN FROM HER and I am a cssh buyer. What a waste of space. Drop the attitude, get some human relations training and more importantly some sales training. YOUR A JOKE.

I cannot recommend Willowgreen Malton enough. Genuinely they were the best part of my house selling/buying experience. I recently bought a property through them and from the start everyone was so lovely and helpful, from Ted that showed us around, Lisa who was amazing at negotiating our sale and then I can’t give enough praise to Lisa and Bev who dealt with the whole process afterwards through to completion. We were moving from a long way out of the area so I didn’t really have any contacts but they recommended a surveyor, arranged for a builder to offer advice and even gave me details of a cleaner. We had a stressful last few weeks of the process due to my buyers solicitor and Bev even got involved pushing that for us.
