This estate agent is awful. They tried to carry out the end of tenancy property inspection whilst I was still in contract with them by turning up to the property to carry out this inspection without even agreeing it with me. Then they told me that if I didn't let them carry out the inspection on that day (despite being within my contract period) that I'd owe them £105 because they'd have to carry out the inspection 'out of office hours'. This is against the law according to the Tenant Fees Act 2019. They either aren't aware of this, or simply do not care. This matter was only resolved through the DPS scheme (their suggestion, probably in an attempt to scare me), where the adjudicator referred to the aforementioned tenants act in my favor. They also refused to apologise after I emailed them about the outcome of the adjudication process. They are rude, patronising, and incompetent. Do not rent with this company.
