GoogleAvoid buying on this estate at all costs. The workmanship and quality of the finish has been unacceptable since we moved in from doors that do not close properly to snags that are dealt with many months after being reported. You can guarantee that Barratts do their best to complete on time but what corners have they cut along the way? Problems will almost certainly rear their head just after the 'fixtures and fittings' warranty has expired due to poor workmanship that Baratts will wash their hands of. Luckily we spotted some early on such as the leak to our en-suit extractor fan due no lagging being installed causing condensation to cause leaks above the ceiling. Now this same room has further issues which they will not deal with even though it will be down to their poor quality control. If you want to spend your money on a well built and designed house avoid this development at all costs. If you buy a house on this estate it will be a ticking time bomb for a major issue to occur that will be no fault of your own.

GoogleLovely house and great build (can’t fault the site managers they’re fantastic) however would not recommend buying from Barratt (especially on Silk Waters Green) due to the evasiveness and lies with regards to the relocation of Henshaw’s Waste Management. Multiple home owners were told the land would be built on by Barratt prior to Christmas 2020 and this is yet to happen.

Building houses behind us on Whiston close and blocking our view to see anything,not consulted at planning,disgusting
Also no consideration with piling noise,8 hours a day constant banging.a little notice would have been nice.
