GoogleMy recent experience with Hayward Fox was marred by consistent communication failures and a noticeable lack of professionalism.
Attempting to reach them was a frustrating, with calls and emails routinely ignored or met with vague responses. This lack of responsiveness left me feeling undervalued as a customer which led to me and my family finding an alternative property through another agent.
Overall, the experience was needlessly stressful and disappointing.
In summary, I cannot recommend Hayward Fox based on my experience. Their communication shortcomings and lack of professionalism make them an unreliable choice for real estate services. Use an alternative if possible.

I am sorry you have felt the need to post such a negative review and having reviewed the communications between you and all members of the team, these were all timely and professional. The process of appointment booking, viewing, referencing and meeting the landlord all went smoothly and only when you decided not to proceed, due to a ‘change in circumstance’, did things change.
I understand the frustration in having your holding fee retained but this is only done in specific circumstances , these reasons and the purpose of the holding fee are explained thoroughly in our application form that was completed and signed by you.
It is a shame you decided not to proceed so close to moving in but we respect things can change but they also come with consequences on both sides.

GoogleDefinitely corrupt estate agent In Lymington. The person who did the viewing on the rental property named Simon, said I would be considered along with other people for the property and be put forward to the landlord. I viewed the property at 9am and was not informed all day, so I had to manually email the office at 4pm ish, another person Gill, as I only had her email address.
She corresponded quickly and asked Simon to call me back, he did, just before the office closed and was told the property had been Let Agreed from Simon. I had checked via Right move much earlier in the day and noticed it had been Let Agreed, to my suspicion.
So I find it highly disrespectful that I was not informed at all - even a simple email would have been suffice. I had travelled more than 2 hours to view.
Obvious corruption & dealings within the letting agents and discrimination on my personal circumstances. I will be contacting head office to complain.
AVOID THIS AGENT.

I am sorry to see your review. I can confirm as mentioned on the viewing we had three parties that were viewing the property and all three of you expressed an interest in the property. We contacted the landlord by email to confirm which party they would like to proceed. At this point as we had three proceedable applicants and to prevent further disappointment we listed the property as Let Agreed online, until we had their response. I was out on appointments from 1:30pm until approximately 5:10pm and on my return Gill advised me you had called in. I called you as soon as I had had a chance to review my emails and see that the landlord had chosen one of the other parties (17.27). I am sorry that you have missed out on this property and would be happy to try and help you find another property through us should you wish.

GoogleOur 'association' with Hayward Fox goes back nearly 28 years when (as Fox & Sons) they facilitated the sale of a property and the purchase of another (the one from which we have just moved). Indeed, the previous transactions were dealt with by Iain King, the same Iain King who oversaw our recent sale. The property was very well marketed and we quickly received numerous offers, including one from the eventual purchasers. Although the process was a little delayed as a result of our purchasers losing their buyer and some prevarication by the seller of our new property, the whole process was done and dusted inside 5 months and the move itself went like a dream on the day. Hayward Fox kept us regularly up to date and we often popped in to see Sallie and Iain to discuss progress. We were very happy indeed with the service we received and if we were to think of moving again (I seriously hope not!), then we would look nowhere else. A+++++
