GoogleMy experience with this agency was and is marred by communication failures , lies and a lack of professionalism. The contractors who come to the house are not professionals and neither the person in charge at the lettings agency. Calls and emails ignored or vaguely answered.
The experience is stressful and disappointing.
It wouldn't be fair to judge an entire agency based on the poor work of one person, but I'm very sorry .
They don't fulfill their commitments as an agency.
If you can choose another agency, do it 100%.

GoogleThe agent I dealt with at the Haywood Fox, Lymington, office did not provide a quality service whatsoever. He told me that he works on behalf of the seller but it felt like he was working on behalf of the buyer from the moment I agreed to the sale. The agent did not contact me once throughout the whole period to update me on progress. When I called him, he made me feel demanding and unreasonable in my queries about the progress of the sale, which should have been a straightforward one given that it was just my house and a cash buyer so the shortest chain possible. This was not good value for money. I would absolutely not recommend this agent.

Attempting to reach them was a frustrating, with calls and emails routinely ignored or met with vague responses. This lack of responsiveness left me feeling undervalued as a customer which led to me and my family finding an alternative property through another agent.
Overall, the experience was needlessly stressful and disappointing.
In summary, I cannot recommend Hayward Fox based on my experience. Their communication shortcomings and lack of professionalism make them an unreliable choice for real estate services. Use an alternative if possible.

I am sorry you have felt the need to post such a negative review and having reviewed the communications between you and all members of the team, these were all timely and professional. The process of appointment booking, viewing, referencing and meeting the landlord all went smoothly and only when you decided not to proceed, due to a ‘change in circumstance’, did things change.
I understand the frustration in having your holding fee retained but this is only done in specific circumstances , these reasons and the purpose of the holding fee are explained thoroughly in our application form that was completed and signed by you.
It is a shame you decided not to proceed so close to moving in but we respect things can change but they also come with consequences on both sides.
I hope you and your family are enjoying your new home and wish you all the best in the future

The flat was clean, tidy and exactly how you would hope and expect. I find them to be extremely professional and ( excuse the pun ) very accommodating. Very pleased.
