We were part of a difficult chain and they did everything in their power to keep us informed and offered advice at every stage. GoogleSharing this as constructive feedback. I travelled a long distance by public transport for a 3:30 pm viewing and was given a Google Maps link that led to the wrong location. I waited in the rain and called the agency when I realised the issue. Instead of acknowledging the incorrect link, the male staff member I spoke with was dismissive and placed the responsibility on me to double-check the postcode. I was asked to reach the property within an unrealistic timeframe, despite explaining there was no bus, I hadn’t brought a car, and it was a long walk in the rain. The tone felt rude and lacking empathy. The viewing eventually took place but felt rushed. While the property was well presented and a detailed handout was provided, clearer communication, accountability, and a more respectful approach would have made a big difference. I liked the property but chose not to proceed due to the experience.

GoogleMe and my partner were purchasing a property through Laing Bennett which unfortunately did not progress just as we were about to arrange exchange and completion dates. However due to us having to move house promptly as risk of losing our buyer was high, they immediately booked us in to view properties that were end of chain to give us an opportunity to fulfil our dreams of moving. Laing Bennett's quick thinking, exceptional communication and going above and beyond paid off and we finally exchanged contracts after a journey of three different houses, two mortgage applications and a lot of blood, sweat and tears!
