How am I giving them money to 'manage' a property when they do little to no work. I wish I had the confidence to charge for a service and then did absolutely nothing. Kudos

Unbelievably bad experience. We have been let down massively multiple times. We had major health and safety issues, unusable toilets for 2 months and we only heard promises.We had to contact Private housing at the city council to get them to do something. Unreliable would be a compliment for them. Do not use these people, seriously.I can keep going with how many problems we had but there is no point. Their ratings say it all.

Renting my first property with them, was told it would be finished for the day I got my keys, 5 weeks later I’m still waiting for my cupboard doors to be fired, my shower to be fixed and the nail sticking out of my banister to be removed. They’re quick enough to take the rent out of my account although they put me in arrears as they never took my account number for future payments.

Update: my landlord no longer uses Connells for any of his properties as they have been uselessI rented a property via the Exeter branch and was overcharged by £150 on the day I was trying to move in. The agent was rude, patronising and verging on threatening. I paid as I had no other option. When I made an official complaint I was refunded into my account with no apology. Extraordinarily expensive for very poor service.

Reasonably easy ride but no real surprise as a first time buyer and a chain free seller. Very annoyed at extra charges that were on back of the very small print in the contract, which were not pointed out and we assumed that buying a fixed fee service would be exactly that!

This company are an absolute joke...rude surveyor came and walked in with the smallest of introductions, spent 10 minutes in the house and walked out with the parting words, “the bank will be in touch”. Undervalued the property based on 2 RICS reports we paid to have over the past 18 months and now affecting our mortgage. Do not use. Apparently their valuations are “Law”. Laughable..! Can I do a minus review..?

They put fake properties for sale on Rightmove, using this way to gain personal data from customers. Don't understand why this kind of low value providing companies exiting in the market. Full of scammer and scumbags. Don't deal with them if you can avoid at all! Especially the branch in Warwick, absolutely disgusting.

The attitude of the surveyor was bordering on rude.The report contained some items that were inapplicable to this house, a badly researched, unnecessary and potentially hugely expensive recommendation regarding the roof, many items that were difficult to associate with the interior or exterior of this house and some recommendations that were simply mendacious.This company added to the stress of selling our family home of 25 years and added complication and anger to the experience.

I cannot recommend connells enough. The whole process has been seamless from buying a new home and selling ours. Liam especially has always been there for any questions we have and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely 5 star service

I rented my house in dudley staff rented my property to ccj peoples and I waited 2 years I lost 2 years rent because of unexperience staff they don't know what they are doing also not helping the landlords and they serve section 21 without providing documentation I wasted 4 another months because of unexperienced staff don't bothered with connells thanks find local agency

North Bristol Connells, My daughter and her B/F paid Morgage Broker 700.00 to end up applying for a 5 year Fixed 2.39% Nationwide BS Morgage with Nationwide, Product fee of 995.00, same Morgage available on Nationwide BS website @ 2.29%, thus if purchase concludes to completion daughter and her b/f will be paying Nationwide fee to morgage broker by virtue of slightly higher rate as well as having paid 700 fee themselves.

Worst estate agent ever. Wish I had read the reviews before using them.They gave me ad advice as to how to market the property and gave meno feedback on viewings I had to chase them all the time.The property only sold when I ignored their advice. They admitted they only tell clients part of the feedback. The only thing they were efficient at was presenting a bill for appalling service AVOID THIS AGENCY

Put a bid on a house. Went to best and final offers. Subsequently found out despite bidding £10,000 more than other party and in better circumstances (no chain, mortagage agreed etc) we lost out. Turns out it was due to estate agents knowing the other buyers and wanting to give them a cheaper sale. Lied to seller about our circumstances to m to approve other buyer. Cowboys stay clear

They do not update the status of the properties on the website and other platforms. Wasted my time enquiring unavailable properties. Nearly all of the property I enquired were no longer available. Also I think it is dishonest that they said the price written was for an unfurnished apartment, yet on the website said the apartment is furnished.

I’m so glad I’m not the owner of this branch the closed sign is on the front door and the two staff that are working are sitting on there mobile phones, just walked passed 1 hour later and still on her mobile phone texting, very productive office. I would suggest who’s in charge of paying these staff start tracking there hours of no productive work

Would have given 0 stars, but Connells are just unprofessional, do not know what they are doing, i have sold my house in February and yet still not received payments and anything, they keep taking us round in circles, telling us a date then totally going past this and making it longer and longer, wish I never used this company as total numptys, never again

My son is looking for his first home to buy. He called Connell repeatedly about a flat he was interested in and they didn’t make much effort to call him back or set anything up. In the end I had to call and arrange a viewing.Son and his dad went on the viewing. The agent was very halfhearted and didn’t show any enthusiasm about the property. Very underwhelmed.
