I have just rented an apartment in London through the White Estates agency and I have been very happy with their level of service. The apartment was exactly as depicted in the photos, no negative surprises. I wanted to make multiple inspections and they were always available with less than 24h notice in order to let me in. Important note: they were the only ones managing the specific apartment. You couldn't find it in multiple (often misleading) websites. They have taken care of all the minor adjustments I have asked for prior to my check -in and they went above and beyond with replacing used items with brand new ones (like the moquette in the bedroom), something I hadn't asked. There were some minor things that needed fixing which I discovered only after I lived in the place for some days and the agency's response was always the same: fast and efficient. They also assisted my with the transfer of the utility bills under my name and the necessary bureaucracy which can be a pain in London. Special thanks to Stefania & Karl for making my move to London smooth and pleasant. I definitely recommend White Estates to anyone looking to rent a house in London. Athanasios Mougios

I have been dealing with White Estate for several years, from finding a tenant for my property to handling its sale. I would particularly like to thank Karl, the office manager, for his support throughout the sales process. Karl was always responsive and kept me well informed about viewings whenever I enquired. More importantly, he was personally involved in coordinating between the buyer and seller, as well as with solicitors and management companies. This hands-on approach helped address all parties’ concerns promptly and enabled the contract to be exchanged relatively swiftly. It is my view that local businesses understand their area better and build their reputation through hard work and a personal touch that larger agencies may lack. My experience with White Estate confirmed it, and I would highly recommend them.

I had contact with them (and Karl, the manager) on several occasions where they were helpful although I had no transaction to offer. They recommended really good surveyors for instance. They sold my neighbour's flat in SW5 and they were very happy with the service received and the result. They are also supremely experienced in this particular corner of South Kensington. I find them equally professional, trustworthy and not solely short-term transaction focused. Very re-freshing.

Having read some of the reviews below, I wanted to call these out. We have just completed on a split deal with White Estates. We had let a property for a client for many years and following the landlord's decision to sell, we worked with Karl / White Estates to find a buyer. Karl - our contact is a great agent and is definitely the type of person you WANT working for you to either find you a buyer/tenant; or, a property. Our deal was a tough one due to the low lease but Karl was on the ball. We had open dialogue throughout and we got over the line. Our vendor was extremely happy. I'd have no hesitation to work with Whites and Karl again in the future and hope that we get the opportunity to do so!

Absolutely poor, woeful and disgusting. Portray a very negative image of their tenants. Very unhelpful and unclear about the referencing process, bad communicators that have little clue on what is happening. Happier to see you fail so they can pocket extra money. Take the admin fees and leave you without an agreement because that is how they operate. Very bad practice that I have not experienced anything like it. Definitely stay away from them or you are bound to be in trouble for weeks...
