Not a good experience at the time, but management went out of way to try to put things right.

My experience of selling my property with the company was not good due to having a poor account manager and basically paying out for zero service. This person has since "left" the company and the director of operations has made a real effort to discuss the issues and to find a good solution to the problems. I think the company believe in their brand and are keen to ensure that customers are treated well and issues resolved.

Fantastic way to sell our flat

We were unsure whether to go with a traditional estate agent or Sell My Home. The latter seemed like a great option but it was a little bit of the fear of the unknown. We decided to go for it. I'm delighted that we did. Communication from Sell My Home to us, the prospective buyers and our solicitor has been exceptional. It wasn't always a straightforward sale but they've been a great conduit between all parties and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others or use them again ourselves. I suspect this type of selling is the future and Sell My Home ought to be right at the forefront of the industry.

Sale of flat

We entrsuted sell my home with the sale of our flat, and it was the best decision we could have ever made! You get better service than a high street estate agent, yet are saving yourself 10's of thousands of pounds. The whole team at sell my home have been absolutely on point throughout the whole process, I cannot fault them. It really does beg the question of how long high street estate agents can last? Why would you give away thousands of pounds from your sale, when you can use someone like sell my home, receive better service and pay a fraction of the costs in estate agent fees? It really is an absolute no brainer, and we need to encourage more people to be using businesses like SMH in the future and saving all of us lots of money! Thank you sell my home, you have been amazing. You can expect all our friends and family to come to you when buying or selling properties!

Can’t overemphasise how impressed we are with SellMyHome

We completed on the Sale of our flat within 2 months of it putting it for sale with SellMyHome. Throughout the whole process, Tom, Will and the rest of the team, delivered us outstanding service, whilst also saving us about £10k in estate agency fees. We initially met with 5 well-known agents, supposed “local experts”, who produced an mystifyingly large range of valuations. We were hugely unimpressed and neither of us could see how they could possibly justify their fees of 1.5% to 2.5% in an age when people rely on portals like Rightmove. The SellMyHome team steered us to a realistic guide price and organised for fantastic photographs to be taken. As soon as we went live, requests for viewings came flooding in and within a couple of days we had our first offer. I did the viewings myself and I would strongly recommend it, as no one else knows your home as well as you do. (On our hunt for a new house, I lost track of the number of times that an agent answered a question with “I’m not exactly sure but I’ll come back to you on that”… and then never did). Through skill and tenacity, Tom managed to get the original offer increased twice until it finally reached a level that we were happy to accept, only a week after it had gone on the market. Moving from there to “Exchanged” is a very nerve-wracking period but regardless of whatever issue arose (and there were many), Tom calmly kept everything on track. On the flipside, the house we bought was sold by a High St agent and the service we received as buyers was fine, but was it worth paying 1.5% for? Absolutely, categorically, 100% no!!! The traditional estate agency model is hopelessly out of date and is in dire need of a shake-up. SellMyHome are the company to do that and I would recommend them to everyone.

Great service from SellMyHome ALWAYS!!

Tom at Sellmyhome was an angel throughout the whole year of me selling my flat. The sellmyhome team were also great, supportive, communicated with me all the way through the process and I seriously could not have held it together if it wasn't for Tom Crosthwaite being there for me every step of the way. The sellmyhome package is great value for money that also saved me thousands and I think that more people should sell there homes through portals like SellMyHome. I give this company 10 out of 10 stars for support, effort, consistency, communicating effectively and offering a great package that is fully comprehensive for anyone to sell their home. But don't listen to me, try it out for yourself.

Dont use anyone else but sell my home!

My wife & I would like to say a huge THANK YOU !!!!! We wanted to sell our home for a long time. After being thoroughly disappointed with several - "well established High street Estate Agents", we decided to give "Sell My Home" a try. At first we felt a little unsure, then very soon we were really impressed by the professionalism & extremely helpful manner in which we were immediately dealt with, our initial questions were answered spot on (with no waffling). The photo shoot.....wow! The camera man was very experienced!.... Stands, lighting... he must have taken between 80 -100 shots! Then after the team chose the best shots, a very impressive web page of our house, including valuation was live & really quickly, (and a "decent valuation", not like the high street agents, going in cheap just to sell it quickly! "Tom", "Will" & Staff were all really helpful. "Tom" in particular dealt with us & we felt confident all the way. We had calls within 12 hours of it going live & "Genuine" buyers viewing, no time wasters!!!! From start to finish, the final buyer took 5 weeks, from their offer being accepted to final completion of sale! To make matters even better....the value for money - "Sell My Home" charged, bearing in mind all that they had to do, was exceptional!!!! We could not have been happier! Great service and good value

We sold our property through sellmyhome.co.uk and found the process to be very efficient and well managed. The online viewings booking system worked well and I found doing viewings myself beneficial as I could answer any questions potential buyers had about living there. Within 3 days of the photographer coming round the property was on rightmove and we accepted an offer 2 days after that, the process was very quick and easy. The team are easy to contact if you do need any assistance. Using sellmyhome.co.uk was a cheaper alternative to sell our property and they were great to deal with. I have already recommended to family and friends!

Great Service

We sold our flat through sellmyhome.co.uk and it became a complicated and protracted affair due to a lease extension issue. Will and Tom at sellmyhome were fantastic. They gave good advice, and maintained a dialogue with the buyer and their solicitors through some difficult negotiations. Without them I doubt if the sale would have gone to completion. From our initial contact with them through to completion they were always polite and professional at all times. We found them a pleasure to deal with and not at all like the conventional pushy estate agents that we all have become used to. Sellmyhome provide an amazing service that we will use again without any doubt, and one that we would recommend to anyone else thinking of selling their property. Lets not forget that we saved over £3000 in fees in our sale too. Totally use these people!!!!!

Fantastic service throughout

Fantastic service throughout. My solicitors were very slow, to the point where the purchase almost fell through, but Anna saved the day by constantly chasing them until we finally exchanged.I was also impressed with the decision to use an omnidirectional camera to photograph the home. This feature allows you to navigate around the entire property without having to put up with confusing fish eye photographs that other estate agents like to use.

Great service from a buyer perspective. The fact that I was in touch with the vendor throughout the process meant I could build trust with the person I was buying from rather than a third party. This meant the process was far less stressful - I could ask questions at any time which the vendor was more than happy to answer. And because i had the direct vendor relationship, I didn't fear gazumping.
