GoogleI have been renting through MySpace for a while now and overall, the process has been very positive. They are a very relaxed and tenant-friendly agency, which I personally really appreciate.
In the past, I was used to working directly with my landlord who owned his own agency, so I always had a very relaxed environment. Then, for two years, I dealt with another agency that was an absolute nightmare, maybe good for landlords, but from a tenant’s point of view, it was a terrible experience.
With MySpace, things have been completely different. Of course, it takes a little time at the beginning to fully understand each other, but I must say that Gosia, our property manager, has been extremely kind and respectful. One important thing for us is that we don’t like anyone entering our flat when none of us is home, not because of distrust, but because we work in creative fields and have delicate items around, and because, simply, home is a private and personal space.
Gosia and the team have been very accommodating with this, trying whenever possible to arrange appointments when one of us is present. I really appreciate this respect for tenants’ autonomy, it’s rare to find, and for me it’s a big sign of professionalism.
In terms of maintenance, they might not be the most extremely strict or picky agency (which, honestly, for someone who wants to live peacefully, is not a disadvantage at all). Renting a home should feel like living in your own place, after all, tenants pay a significant deposit for a reason, and MySpace seems to truly understand that.
Of course, they carry out three inspections per year, which at first felt a little much to me. However, Gosia handles them in a very relaxed and respectful way: she is in and out very quickly, never intrusive, and always gives notice and options for scheduling, which I really appreciate.
So far, everything has been excellent with MySpace. Of course, there is still a bit of time left on our contract, so I can’t yet speak for the renewal process, but based on the experience so far, I can genuinely say that if you are a tenant looking for an agency that respects you and helps you feel at home, MySpace is a fantastic choice.

GoogleRented from these folks for about 9 1/2 years. Loved the property managers, never had any problems until landlords hiked the rent in 2023 and wouldn’t negotiate. Length of communication silence meant the agency left me with about two weeks to move out and sent several insistent emails saying I had to vacate the premises in that period, which was rough after such a long tenancy and isn’t in keeping with what tenants are actually legally able to do. I was eventually able to get a small lease extension and moved, but it really felt dreadful to be treated that way as a long-time client.

GoogleI have had my flat(s) managed by Myspace ever since they started. There have been some difficult times, like when I had sitting tenants, but they have given very good support. In particular, Gosia does an excellent job with the day to day management of my property. I have always been impressed at how well they manage reletting, and Robert has been very good in finding new tenants when the need arises. We have had our ups and downs, but I really appreciate how over the years, they have really helped me, even though I live overseas.

They are the best agents that I've had while I've been renting - it feels like they're on your side as the tenant. They are very responsive to any issues I have and check in frequently to ensure everything is up to standard. Gosia has been an excellent property manager and it's been great to work with Andrew regarding the renewals. Should I ever have to move I hope it's to another Myspace property!

GoogleWell, after seeing 3 x1 star reviews i am really not surprised. The manager Heather is rude and from my call with her just now, clearly incompetent. She cannot remember simple facts like how many offers she has had on a property in a 24hr period... and then suddenly happens to remember them. She is either a liar or doesn't know what she is doing. I put an offer in on a property and when i asked her to admit if she put the offer forward to the vendor asking them if they would like to go to best and final offers on a sealed bid she hung up on me. At best she is clearly out of her depth and has no clue how to run an office with good communication, at worst she is the reason Estate Agents have a bad name with her devious way of handling sales. And who loses out...the Vendor. They will be receiving less money than they could have achieved for their property. I would never use this agent and if you want to get the best money for your property. i would advise you to steer clear of this agent as the way they have dealt with this negotiation it is is clear their incompetence and inability to communicate politely and professionally and downright rudeness on the telephone will only push buyers away and in the end reduce demand for your property and in turn rob poor sellers of thousands of pounds. When there are so many other (good and honest) agents out there, why use them?

Mr Lowni. I would like to provide some balance to your review, which appears to be a knee jerk reaction to missing out on a property and not getting your own way.
Firstly, we have apologised for the slight miscommunication regarding the initial rejection of your offer. Secondly, you were given the opportunity to revise your offer, which you declined. Whilst you may have put forward a verbal offer the day before, we then asked you to put that offer in writing, as we would in most cases. Your “formal” offer was not received until 10:15pm, out of office hours, and your offer was put forward to the vendor first thing the following morning, at approximately 9am (the vendor in this case is a national company with normal office opening hours also). Your offer was immediately rejected by the vendor as being too low and requiring a mortgage. The vendor had already accepted a higher offer from somebody with cash, who the day before had already provided solicitor’s details and proof of funds. By 10am, you had posted this review, although you could have increased your offer instead, rather than arguing.
I must also point out that you did not view the property with myspace, and in one of your emails, you claimed to have already viewed the property with another agent and met with the vendor. The vendor has advised that myspace were the first, and only agent to be instructed, and therefore had not met with you via another agent, as you alleged.
We are one of the more established agents in this area, and we would not have had the success we have had over the last seventeen years if we did not provide our clients with a high level of satisfaction and service. Hopefully any future clients will be able to see this unjustified review for what it is.

GoogleDON'T EVER GO WITH THIS AGENCY!! THEY MADE OUR LIFE A LIVING HELL! One week after moving in, we were made aware that there will be a huge 6 months construction project in the building. No more balcony, no more light coming in, no more sun. They blocked the whole balcony with a huge thing so now as if we live in a cell. Scaffolding were put, workers are inside the balcony on daily basis , no more privacy and most importantly we havent slept for the past 5 months as workers start working at 7 am every single day.

They are prompt and do everything to a high professional standard. They have a good range of available 'handy men' who respond quickly and are value for money.
