A second opportunity in London, and a second time my husband and I called Deborah for help. I’m not sure how she does it, but as Deb is amazing and an amazing listener, she adjusts as it goes and always deliver! Not mentioning what a fantastic person she is!

As first-time homebuyers in London, we were overwhelmed with the entire property search and transaction process. Friends had highly recommended Rex Chalmers for our property search, and we're so happy they did. He was the perfect mix of considerate, strategic, honest and persistent, these qualities are what put my partner and me into our dream home. He was open about saying when he thought a property wasn't a good value or couldn't meet our needs; ultimately he helped us focus our preferences and then tracked down a home that ticked every single item on our wishlist. We are certain we would have not been able to find and secure our new home without Rex and his years of experience. (Especially during the pandemic!)

Working with Rex Chalmers at Garrington was the single best decision that my partner and I made in our home search. This was our second purchase in London, so we knew some of the challenges going in: wonky properties, crazy bidding wars, stressful negotiations, weird historical artefacts, complicated chains, and many other challenges. Rex was an amazing ally throughout the process, serving as negotiator, coach, advocate and champion. He helped us identify properties to view, knew the right questions to ask when we viewed them, took videos of our viewings which we could review later, and negotiated with the selling agents on our behalf. Once we had an offer accepted, he worked tirelessly to keep things on track and get us to an on-time completion. Before we instructed Rex, we had been trying for 9 months without success to sell our starter home and buy a new place. With Rex, we quickly sold our flat, found an amazing home, and got to exchange of contracts.

Nick did an absolutely phenomenal job of finding a property for a client of mine. The search was tricky for numerous reasons, but Nick persisted and managed to source an off market property that fully fulfilled the brief and handled the conveyancing process with great efficiency. Would highly recommend.

Working with Rex on a sale transaction was a pleasure. He is knowledgable and relaxed, whilst working with his client's best interests in mind throughout. His line of communication is superb and he leaves no stone unturned with his attention to detail.

We were very happy with our experience with Rex at Garrington. Buying in London while living overseas, Rex guided us through the process with great advice throughout. We completed on our property purchase this week and almost feel sad to say goodbye... until next time! Charlotte & Tom

I have recently completed a transaction with Philippa Mills. She has helped smooth a complex sale which has resulted in both sets of clients being satisfied with the outcome.
