My personal experience with Douglas Allen was very positive. Although I didn't end up buying a property through them as I decided to move to another part of London. Having registered with most of the local estate agents, Douglas Allen were by far the best. I would like to highlight two staff members in particular. Remel who I explained what property I was looking for Remel tried extremely hard to match my requirements. If something came onto the market Remel would call me provide me with details, send information and then follow up to see what I thought. It was this personal touch that I personally liked, other estate agents just sent me things, hoping something would stick I just felt like I was on a conveyor belt and not a valued customer. Remel really gave me the impression he was trying his hardest to find me what I wanted. Ann-Marie was a star showed me around a couple of properties, didn't pressure me or give me the hard sell, was very relaxed and made me feel at ease, also opened my eyes to potential of a property should I be interested in buying. These were the personal touches that set Douglas Allen apart from the other estate agents in my book. I would definitely recommend Douglas Allen.

A special mention goes to Anita kaur from the sales team, who was exceptional throughout. This was my first experience of selling a property by auction. My initial contact was with Greg who did the valuation and explained the ins and outs of selling by auction. His team arranged the photographs, setting up the auction and viewings. They kept me informed of all viewing appointments as they became arranged and reported feedback where received. Staff were always friendly and helpful and dealt with any queries I had promptly. Special thanks to Phebi, Luke and particularly to Michelle, who went above and beyond to chase completion so it finally took place on the day, right before closing time.Well done everyone and thank you.

GoogleWe had a great experience with Douglas Allen estate agents, especially with Samuel who has been extremely helpful and communicative throughout the buying process. We recently had an offer accepted on a property in Walthamstow. Also a shout out to Diana who showed us round the flat, was really lovely and made us feel like we could take our time and properly view despite the schedule being busy. Samuel dealt with the offer process really transparently and his communication was great - a much more positive offer process than many other estate agents in the area who panic you into offering higher and create bidding wars. That was not our experience with Douglas Allen, so thank you Samuel and team!

Samuel great initially, handled all of our queries / offers efficiently - Sean was upfront and easy to deal with while negotiating, finally Tanya was brilliant during the run up to exchange and completion - wouldn’t of happened so quickly without her chasing both sides and keeping us informed. GoogleI booked a house valuation with this agency for Saturday at 12:00 pm and arranged my schedule around the appointment. The day before, on Friday, they called me to confirm the appointment, and it was confirmed and I have been told: see you tomorrow. I was waiting for them on Saturday, but at 11:35 am I received a message saying that my appointment had been cancelled because I had not answered my phone. However, I had not received any missed calls from them. Also, I had already contacted them myself the day before to confirm the appointment. When I called them, I was told that 11:35 am was too late to confirm the appointment and that they had therefore cancelled it themselves. This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I had arranged my day around this appointment, and cancelling it only 25 minutes before the agreed time, without any prior warning, was unacceptable. As a result, I will not book another valuation with this agency or use their services for the valuation of my house. I do not consider their staff or the way they handled this situation to be professional.

GoogleWould like to share the great experience I had with Michael and Samuel when buying my first home with Douglas Allen. Naturally, buying a property is quite an intimidating step, but they made me feel very comfortable throughout the process, offering their support and excellent communication on different aspects of the process throughout. Every contact I had with Michael and Samuel was friendly, professional and productive, which has made this process stress-free. I would recommend Douglas Allen massively, as they have been immensely helpful and supportive (and continue to be) throughout this whole process for me!

GoogleI highly recommend choosing Douglas Allen in Walthamstow to sell your home. After failed attempts to sell my property with another agent, I chose Douglas Allen, and was not disappointed! After just 2 weeks of being on the market, my property was sold. Big thanks to Samuel Prayag for making this journey as smooth as possible for me after a very stressful process with a previous agent. GoogleI just want to say what wonderful service we have received from Michael, Rob and Anita at Douglas Allen. From the moment I got in touch to put my parents house on the market with them, they have been incredibly helpful and nothing has been too much trouble. They have appreciated that I do not live nearby and have done everything they can to make the process easier and since having had an offer on my parents house, Sean has been there to help with all of the processes and has been very understanding and so again nothing has been too much trouble. So a massive thank you to everyone at the Walthamstow branch - all the members of staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

GoogleI just wanted to say that my experience with Douglas Allen and especially Rob Wade in the Walthamstow branch has been excellent. I had my home on with another agent in the town who were market leaders, things were good for the first couple of weeks then I received little or no communication from them. Rob came round and gave me some great advice so I then instructed him, 9 days later he agreed a sale on my home so now me and my young family can move into our new home.
