GoogleFor such a small company Bramtons have an extremely large ego!
We rented a property through Bramtons for nearly five years and treated it with care as if it were our own. Unfortunately, our experience with them especially at the end of the tenancy was nothing short of frustrating.
The property was not professionally cleaned when we moved in, and we flagged several issues immediately. We were told they wouldn’t be addressed. Fast forward to move-out and Bramptons attempted to charge us £150 for “professional cleaning” despite us keeping the flat in great condition and having photo evidence of the poor state it was in when we arrived.
We challenged this through the deposit scheme and won, as we were able to demonstrate that the cleaning invoice provided by Bramtons was questionable, if not forged.
Communication throughout our tenancy was difficult. Calls were often met with rudeness or disinterest, and unfortunately, Boz made promises that simply weren’t kept.
Given our experience, I would advise both tenants and landlords to proceed with caution. It's hard to trust many of the positive reviews, as they don’t reflect the reality we encountered.

We are disappointed by the content of your review, which misrepresents both the facts of your tenancy and the role of our agency.
To clarify: Bramtons acts as a letting agent for this property, not the managing agent or property owner. The day-to-day maintenance, cleaning standards at check-in, and property-related decisions throughout your tenancy were entirely the responsibility of the landlord, not our office.
It is misleading and unfair to hold Bramtons accountable for matters over which we have no decision making authority on. We operate within clear boundaries defined by the landlord’s instructions and legal agreements, and we cannot override those instructions on your behalf.
The cleaning invoice was from a reputable, third party contractor and your suggestion that it was “forged” is completely unfounded and defamatory.
Bramtons has a long-standing reputation for professionalism, transparency and fair treatment of both tenants and landlords. We welcome honest feedback, but we will not accept public misstatements that attempt to damage our credibility.
