GoogleWarning to anyone thinking of bidding for these properties (Horizon Court, Bermondsey Heights, Vesta Heights): DO NOT BID.
The adverts look good, but once you move in you’ll see the truth: the flats are cheaply built, full of dust, and full of faults from day one. When I moved in I had no hot water, no heating, no working toilet, and electrical faults. The radiators don’t heat properly, the water pressure is low, and the noise in the building is constant.
Even though their own blueprint says council tenants should only pay part rent upfront, I was forced to pay a full four weeks’ rent in advance just to move into a faulty property. After that, you are left alone with no real support, no housing officer, and no answers.
There is no privacy, you cannot install proper curtains, and you are tied to one expensive energy provider with no choice.
👉 When you see these homes advertised, do not bid. They are setting families up to fail

GoogleThe fact that it's the tallest building within a 2.5km radius says a lot, the view is breathtaking. There is a garden on the 1st floor and a E-Bike charging station on the property. No need to plan a trip to London as it's just a stone throw away.
You're just 5 mins outside of London via car and. 10 mins via train.

GoogleMisleading representation of the properties. Quite expensive for the quality with constant never-ending problems. Bizzare, heating does not work in multiple flats in newly build site! Lifts frequently broken, and only 2 lifts for 26 floors! People frequently miss deliveries and packages are left around the building. Workers put fake positive reviews. Very bizzare experience. Think twice before buying.
Recently workers of barratt posted misleading photos with lovely trees that are not around the building. The road feels like construction site and even the only local bus on the road did not work for over half year! And only recently it started working with heavy delays.

GoogleI strongly advise anyone considering Bermondsey Heights not to buy here. We’ve faced ongoing issues and Barratt’s team has been unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility.
The heating doesn’t work, leaving the flat freezing, we’ve had to rely on electric heaters. The ventilation and electricity board were replaced, yet ventilation still fails. The hot water issue was eventually fixed, but only after a long wait.
The lifts often break down, which is unacceptable in a 26-storey building, leaving residents waiting ages or climbing stairs.
We were also misled about transport links, Barratt claimed a new station would start construction this summer, but that was untrue. Even the bus service is unreliable.
Buying here has been a huge disappointment. I truly regret this purchase and want to warn others before making the same mistake.

GoogleTwice heating has broken down over 48 hours waiting. In freezing cold teperatures why cant you lot get it right for once or stop trying to manage propeties your useless. We have just moved in this block and its full of defects.
