GoogleMark from Andre Joseph Estates made our first time flat hunting in London a quick and easy process. As first time renters in London, knowing how competitive the market is, Mark was helpful throughout the whole process, showing only properties that met all of our requirements as well as giving tips and advice, helping us to have as quick a turnaround as possible.

GoogleWe rented a property through Andre Joseph. The property in question was rented as furnished. However, we didn't get to see the furniture as the current tenants had brought their own sofa etc. When it came to moving in the landlord had gone on the Ikea website, and chosen the lowest price sofa (2 seater sofa with reviews saying it was good for a childs bedroom) which cost £180 and was totally unsuitable for a 3 bed flat in Balham at premium prices. The flat stank of smoke and was dirty on move in with dog muck on the floor. The smell had been covered up with candles etc when we viewed. Mark from Andre Joseph completely washed his hands of all these problems saying they were just the letting agency and it was no longer their problem post signing the contract. The same flat is currently up for rent with the same pictures they used 5 years ago. After one year the landlord tried to put the rent up by 30% (we left and she didn't manage to let it anywhere near that price). I wanted to make this review as a warning to any prospective tenants that Andre Joseph are used by landlords who only care about profit and not tenants because they are cheaper than the big firms. You won't have any protection after you sign on the dotted line. To be fair Andre Joseph did their legal obligation - there was no issue with them per se but they will not help you out if the contact is not honoured by the landlord.

GoogleMark went over and above to help me secure the property I wanted to rent in a particular development. He responded to all enquiries at the weekend and helped to progress my application which took less than 2 weeks to complete. To be honest I was ignored by several other estate agents when enquiring about rental properties therefore I will highly recommend Mark/Andre Joseph estates and will use them again!

GoogleWe had the pleasure of working with Mark at Andre Joseph Estates, on our last home letting, and he was the best agent we have ever worked with. He was knowledgeable, reliable and highly professional. Mark went beyond the call of duty to help out with whatever we needed. We were out of town for a long period and needed help at the house with measurements and photos and Mark must have gone to the house 3 times to help us get what we needed. I would highly recommend Mark and Andre Joseph Estates to anyone looking to work with an agent.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleThe service level provided by Mark has been really really good. Mark is responsive and keeps you informed during the process. I was situated abroad and having Mark guide me through the process of getting the apartment helped a lot. Upon arrival after many delays, Mark showed flexibility by meet after working hours at 21:30. This flexibility is comforting when arriving in London from abroad and I would recommend Mark to everyone, especially for people in my situation. 5/5PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
