Avoid highly unprofessional and fabricate negative information. Rhodri came to value our property and fabricated false facts about the property so our application was denied! All of which could have been dealt with during his visit as I was with him the entire time but asked no questions in regards to the issues he raised. I’ve been in property for many years and have dealt with too many surveyors to count but have never experienced such unprofessionalism as we experienced with Mallard AVOID at all costs. Pay peanuts get monkeys!!! Don’t waste your time on these guys !!!

A few days ago I walked into the office and the staff were very welcoming. I didn’t have a clue about the first thing to do with buying a house. Susan was very patient with me in having to explain the entire process from start to finish. She helped me with advising on how to go about getting my first mortgage. We booked my first viewing and I’m very excited to go and see my first house 🏡.

The house we purchased was with a different estate agent who were nowhere nearly as good. All in all, very impressed, Gayle certainly made the transaction far less stressful and was always in hand for advice and assistance, highly recommend.

Shocking Company! Booked a valuation with Gayle ( the valuer). Arranged it for the following Wednesday, as she was in the area. She new the street as they had just sold a property to a builder. We arranged for 10am . Drove for 45 mins to get to the property concerned, and she couldn’t be bothered to turn up. Office didn’t know anything about it. No phone call back . Shocking, unprofessional, crap company!

Had a charter surveyor come and do a level 2home buyers survey on our potential property. He was able to do the survey 4days later and then sent us the report within the following week. The value of our property was not what we expected and so i called to speak with him to clarify a few things. He was extremley polite and tried to answer all my extremely vague questions. I then called back a week later with more questions and he spent the time explaining again, he didnt rush me or patronise me. I really appreciated his honesty and support in backing up my arguement when renegotiating the price of our house, Thank you! The receptionists were also very polite!

My wife and I are trying to view a property that Mallards have listed but despite phone calls and an email we still haven't an appointment booked it, we are proceedable, if your in the business of selling houses perhaps let people know why they can't view the house. It should be noted that we bought our house off Mallards 10 years ago and they weren't very good then hence why when it came to selling we didn't even entertain them valuing it and from this not much has changed.

Haven't been terribly impressed with this agency. I've bought and sold a lot of properties and worked in the industry too. I bought through them and didn't have anything to complain about, other than they never seemed available to show me round properties, but on the occasion of wanting to view my current home pressed them hard, which resulted in a viewing via the vendor, which was fine. I called recently to enquire about selling through them as they knew the property, and was given a very low if not negative response. When other agent's responses were far more positive and helpful! My personal views did not align with their's at all.

Told them about these in person, on the phone and by email, but they still didn't amend all the mistakes and then advertised the property with incorrect details at a reduced price by them and without authorisation. dont do repairs to lettings ,always blame landlord or workmen for there failings , did yearly gas check gas check on a appliance that you cant even switch on and they passed it as safe to use . they even put phone down on you if you complain . time for environment agency to step in and hopefully prosecute mallards lettings
