GoogleCalled on Thursday last week to be told someone will give me a call Thursday or Friday. No one called so I phoned and asked and was told that court has been busy. Which is absolutely fine. We’re 1 week and 1 day ahead and no one has called not even to say they are busy. Definitely a good thing that I’ve been shown I wouldn’t be supported correctly through a vulnerable time. Lucky escape.

GoogleMy experience with KW Law was profoundly disappointing and ultimately resulted in a costly and unnecessary delay. The primary issue centered on a complete lack transparency around costs. I requested a breakdown or an estimated range of the likely overall costs, a standard request that every other family law firm I consulted was happy to provide. KW law, however, actively refused to provide even a basic cost estimate, stating "they didn't know". This refusal to offer basic financial clarity, particularly at the outset of a contentious legal matter, was a major red flag. After I provided a cost estimate from a different firm, obtained before I engaged KW Law (who I chose for their location), they unilaterally terminated the engagement shortly thereafter. This behaviour was highly unprofessional and disappointing. The most unacceptable part of this entire process, aside from terminating the contract, was for them to keep the entirety of the initial payment I had made, despite of any substantive work being completed. This firm demonstrated poor communication, an unacceptable lack of cost transparency, and, most critically, acted unprofessionally in keeping funds for services they did not deliver, following their own termination of the agreement. I strongly caution anyone seeking clear, reliable, and transparent legal representation to look elsewhere.

GoogleThe worst communication i have ever had. Asking for some clarity on legal terms became patronising and received an eye roll when asking what terms meant. Ended up being a miscommunication that resulted in an argument over the phone. If your looking for some help on any legal matter please don’t go here and there is no empathy at all.

GoogleI used KW Law for conveyancing; selling my home and purchasing a new property. For various reasons I ended up with a very tight deadline to conclude the missives and I cannot emphasise enough how well KW Law handled this process. Staff are friendly, kept me informed throughout and I appreciated their direct and upfront approach. On moving day, which is stressful enough, they were very helpful and processed everything quickly. I would definitely use KW Law again for conveyancing if I move again in future.

GoogleI had a settlement to agree with my employer and it was dealt with by Gillian Knox from the Livingston branch. She was very friendly, very professional and extremely efficient; she made a potentially stressful situation very simple. If I need legal assistance in the future, I will get in touch with her before considering anyone else. The offices are spacious and serve their purpose perfectly. Highly recommended and thank you, Gillian.

GoogleWife passed away 13th jan. Handed in a load of forms only to find out they not been passed on to relevant authorities. 1 form was already filled out, just needed a signature from lawyer. Its now the end of march and form still not been sent. Called to ask why and told if not happy find another lawyer... Is that good practice?

GoogleThe most incompetent, money oriented company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. I instructed these so called solicitors to act on my behalf in a civil matter. Throughout my dealings and observations of them, I was continually surprised at how inempt and utterly useless they were. At one point, during court proceedings, the solictor never realised that the sheriff was talking to her due to being on her ipad! And that is only scratching the surface of it all. Don't make the same mistake as I did and regret it later. I paid the money to them and found out to late to turn back. I wish someone had warned me to stay clear beforehand.
