We just purchased property from Acquire, we are pleased with great service they has provided . Always responding to emails, calls and all queries and questions. There wasn’t any problems at all..if our sale would go as smooth as purchase we would finish quicker, but unfortunately there was delays in our sale side, and vendor had to patiently wait on us, which they never complained about. everything was completed really quick and easy with Acquire. Especially thanks James and Britney for support and all their job. We were surprised when we went to collect the keys, Acquire gave us welcome pack on our moving ,full with bits and bobs. Well done guys, it’s little something for customers which was really nice and kind and appreciated.

Bad experience from the beginning till the end. Dealt with Chris and Scott and the customer service was awful. Mould kept appearing on the walls various times after cleaning and re-painting at my own expenses, but each time I was told that it was poor ventilation... I should have reported them! Before moving in, Mr. Chris Manning promised that the walls would be re-painted and carpet cleaned; nothing was done and I had to pressure him to get those sorted, resulting in a delay of 3 weeks to move in over Christmas. This agency should actually be reported as it is run by a bunch of incompetent people....

Everything was fine until we moved out and we wanted our deposit back, took almost 2 months to get it back after they said I hadn’t given them the bank details to pay it back even tho I proved I had emailed it to them before we moved out, staff are incompetent and pathetic and if you do some digging on them the owner is a modern day con man that before long will be on rogue traders

I went to Aquire to rent a property after the demise of a 14yr relationship - I popped in on my lunch break for a meeting with suave fast talking none stop auction man, he took my reference fee admin fee blah blah and then told me I hadn’t passed after promising I had and wouldn’t return ANY of the money! I now have stage 4 cancer and I still resent the fact I was robbed at a time of sever emotional distress, suffering with ptsd, they really shouldn’t be abusing people with mental health, that can turn suicidal! Even though it was a long time ago, they haven’t changed’ there rating is 2.3! Out of 5!!!! I’ve seen rat infested restaurants awarded more. If they had ANY CONSIDERATION, KINDNESS EMPATHY UNDERSTANDING as a collative maybe more people would rent off them, aside from there selfish astronomical fees, taking advantage of a young single mother at the time WITH NO CONSCIENCE NO SOUL NO REGRET NO REASON to charge the disgusting get rich quick and F the rest of us, leaving houses in disrepair, the second you sign your disrespected abandoned abused and as the beautiful little boy who was lost due to a neglected house and the way people are FORCED TO LIVE - I fully believe acquire should be up against the ombudsman and SHUT DOWN

Unprofessional. House walls had been 'replastered'. Which then cracked and started falling away. All the plasterer had done was skim over the old plaster and wallpaper to make it look nice. Laminate flooring was done by cowboys too, uneven with ridges and bumps. Only one key to the house, aquire wanted me to get a spare cut for them for emegencies which i did. I never got the money back. Called the office several times about the walls. They never called back. The boiler broke and we went without hot water or heating for over a week, had to constantly keep calling everyday as they never called back. There was damp upstairs and the toilet leaked. Nothing ever got done while were in the house. When we moved out they tried to deduct money from deposit saying we didnt give them a whole months notice (which we actually gave more than a month and had the paperwork to prove it) it also took a considerable amount of time to get the deposit which we were told by a certain person that we would have it in 2 weeks more 3 months hey. When we i called to complain about the certain person who consistently lied saying he had dome this or was going to get someone out to the house etc the manager i spoke to simply took his empoyees side saying how amazing he is lol. I would not deal with aquire again. As many others have said in the reviews on here. Unprofdesional. Also twice we had viwings organised where we waited for an agent who never turned up. When calling the office they just said they had no record of having a viewing that day.

Awful experience renting with Acquire. They caused so many issues during my tenancy involving external doors being left open following a viewing making my property vulnerable, failure to communicate with me regarding rent increase and unreasonable deposit deductions which after spending several hours on the phone, were subsequently removed. Quite happy to take substantial amounts of money from me without checking the evidence first. Absolutely the worst estate agents I have ever had to deal with and incredibly rude.

We would not touch this company with a barge pole ever again. Avoid at all costs if you are considering letting a house via them. Poor customer service, they do not care about their tenants. When you leave your contract they will charge you for ridiculous things and try everything to keep your deposit and do not communicate with you. It's literally ran by a group of college leavers that clearly have no experience. They're also quite happy to put you and your children's safety at risk. Avoid!

Once you realise that most if not all of their 5* reviews are from their own staff you'll get the gist of what a shower of sh*t this lot actually are. DONT trust them, get everything in writing or better still don't bother using them at all unless you want a load of lies and crap thrown your way. they will do anything to get a sale/let but then that's it they aren't bothered about you totally unethical and I suspect the only reason they were awarded anything was because (the same as reviews on here) they nominated themselves or got friends and family to do it for them Don't be fooled!!!!!!!!!

My local office was Burton on Trent who I had dealings with. I can honestly say I have never dealt with a bunch of young jobs worths , unprofessional liars in one place. The place I went in was grubby, disgusting and needed painters throughout and I was told by John Rees firstly the house would be painted throughout, it wasn't and a month later I was told the scheduled decorating wasn't for another 18 months / 2 years, I was told by Sam Detheridge ( maintenance manager apparently )my faulty electrics and sockets weren't a priority, when I have a 3 year old child !! I'm still waiting for a call back after 2 months from the Manager Cushy or whatever he's name is. Bunch of absolute arseholes that haven't got a clue about customer service, all they want is to collect money off tenants without sorting serious issues with property's. Pretty sure 99.9% of landlords know nothing about the way this business is run. I will never deal with these idiots again

Arranged a viewing on a 2 bed detached property, instead of giving me the courtesy call to tell me it had sold, they called and emailed me to confirm the appointment only to try and show me a different unsuitable property. When I said I came to view the detached Scott just said its sold, no apology no explanation. 1hr round trip drive wasted - thanks a bunch.
