I have been renting my property through Paul Rolfe for over 2 1/2 years. I am completely happy with the property and have never had any problems with them. Recently the fridge freezer decided to die on me and I contacted them regarding this. Personally I don’t like having to have to report any issues but unfortunately I had to. This was dealt with and I had constant communication regarding this. It took a bit longer for a new appliance to arrive but this was nothing to do with the service from Paul Rolfe it was the delivery company AO who weren’t the best. During this time Debbie Orr from PR was a complete star getting this sorted as it took three delivery attempts because of AO incompetence to get delivered. It did and I am perfectly happy with it but I have to say Debbie went above and beyond to make sure it was sorted and contacted me on Saturday which is outwith her working hours to make sure everything was ok. This is such excellent customer service and she is a credit to Paul Rolfe.

We were extremely pleased with the service we received from Eve at Paul Rolfe Linlithgow. She was EXTREMELY helpful in not only getting us sorted with a rental, but also pointed us in the right direction for getting our council taxes, electricity, and many other things. We are transplants from the U.S. and with this being our first rental, we were clueless about how to do these things. I can't recommend Eve and Paul Rolfe enough.

We’ve had a fantastic experience selling and buying through Paul Rolfe. We needed a quick turnaround for our sale and this was handled very efficiently and with top professionalism. Lewis and the team at Paul Rolfe worked quickly to line up the necessary steps in order to get our property on the market within a week. Their marketing was excellent and our house sold in less than a week. It was a very smooth process with updates from Lewis and Michaela throughout who were both incredibly personable and invested in the success of our sale. First response was great, Jack was very attentive and positive about our home. When it came to reviewing the advert, we were informed we would be sent a draft prior to the live advert but this did not happen. The advert went live and it had lots of errors in it, 3 times we had to ask for amendments. Pretty critical errors when they cannot get the city the home is situated in correct nor the amenities surrounding our home correct. On contacting them the 3rd time we got through the owner himself who found the situation increasingly funny and laughed continuously about the errors - NOT impressed. We would not recommend this firm.

If you’re looking for a rental then I would be sceptical about having these as your landlords. Think we have had a lucky escape. We have shown interest in a few properties in the past and even put an application in with them for one and heard nothing back. Terrible communication. Worst of all though was recently we enquired about a rental that was uploaded on right move. I sent an email enquiry followed closely by a phone call as I see to have “issues” receiving emails back from certain letting agents on right move if you get the drift here… they informed me that the property had only been up for 10 minutes so they hadn’t had chance to arrange viewings yet but as soon as they did we would be contacted straight away. Fast forward one week and I still hadn’t heard from them so I fire across an email (no response) so followed up with a phone call. The woman on the phone said they still hadn’t managed to set up viewings but were certain they would have definite viewing dates the following morning and again they promised they would be in touch. Guess what?! Nothing. Fast forward another day and lo and behold, the property that supposedly had no viewings set up is ‘LET AGREED’. Another phone call with the manager confirmed they had completed viewings and the landlord has picked a tenant. Funny that isn’t it. Lies after lies and we didn’t even get a look in despite being the first to phone. Oh the lies continued. The manager was apologetic, Louise on the other hand was emailing my husband saying she had replied to my enquires saying they couldn’t offer us a viewing? No emails! The manager mentioned no emails! The women on the phone were adamant no viewings had taken place (unsure if this was also Louise) Very strange. Would definitely avoid if you’re looking to rent.

The absolute worst. Have viewed around 5 properties with them and one I liked so applied for the rental. Never heard back from them after placing the application, then seen another property recently in Maddison I was interested in and they couldn't even get back to me with a viewing not even a curtesy email to say I could hire they just ignored me so if ur a landlord looking to let your property these guys aren't doing the best for your property. They ignore people.

Cannot praise the Paul Rolfe team highly enough. I went to them after 6 weeks working with a cheaper estate agent, who had advised me to take an offer much lower than the value of my property. To cut a long story short, Paul Rolfe sold my home within 12 weeks - and for £41,000 more than the original estate agent had advised me to accept. It taught me that you get the service you pay for. And investing a little more in a professional estate agent pays off in the long run.

If you are a tenant of their properties don't expect a response to emails or phone calls. They are very unprofessional in that sense. I had asked for updates on my contract on 4 separate occasions in 2 weeks but did they respond? Nope, not once. Unfortunately they seem to have the Linlithgow market cornered somehow, don't ask me how because a company this unprofessional has so many properties in Linlithgow. Anyway because of their lack of action on my contract requests I will be taking further legal action

This company has refused to respond to any of our emails. My partner and I have emailed them several times in regards to updating our lease and after 6 or 7 emails they haven't responded to one. Totally unacceptable as they are the agents we have to contact for these issues but as a result we are now considering leaving our property because this just isn't acceptable.
