Very unprofessional and rude attitude from agents. Had 2 viewing with them. The first place we saw was taken already, as the landlord took an offer from another agency. In the second place we viewed, we didn’t want to view but they pushed us to view with emails and calls, they rushed us to pay holding deposit. Next day they kept sending emails and calling to do reference, after filling everything up I received letter saying that we have to start doing the legal work, pretending that I haven’t started anything and said that it’s been 48hr (it was not close to that it was 38hr gap) since offer took place (7pm) on 14th and the email they sent was 9am on 16th. There in the email they threatened that the flat will go back on market because of that. When I went back to agency to pull the offer due to how unprofessional they treated us with the written emails, and threats that they will not give the place to us, they shouted at us to leave because I told her her mannerism was unprofessional, she told us we were being rude because of that, not letting us speak and she kicked us out of the agency with no chances of getting the deposit back. Wouldn’t suggest anyone using this agency, terrible experience, and stolen deposit.

My whole experience with Dexters has been excellent from my very first meeting about letting my property to the subsequent support from the Property Management Team .I would particularly like to mention Monika Piszczyk in the Property Management Team . She listens and acts upon any queries I have and keeps me informed of recent occurrences. She always gets back to me ASAP. Judging by her performance, she is equally professional with the tenants. Her care and efficiency is exemplary. I feel very lucky to have Monika as my support.( If Monika happens not to be there, then other members of the team have been able to help).This is one of the important pluses for using Dexters.... everyone is able to help. When I first approached them, the whole letting team, in Finchley Central, visited the property so they all knew it and could speak knowledgeably about it . The property was let and tenants in very quickly.Would I use Dexters again? Without a doubt.. every time.

I have had an excellent experience renting a beautiful home with Dexters in London. Unlike other agencies, Dexters demonstrates care and attention through prompt correspondence, understanding of my needs as a tenant and delightful customer service. Any flat or house will have some problems, the rest of a rental agency is the quality and timeliness of their service. Dexters has exceeded my expectations in both areas. When I moved in and observed the house not up to the post move clean I was expecting, Dexter’s had cleaners there in a matter less than two hours, rather than a day or more. When I needed blinds fixed they maintained proactive communications with me. And finally a fault in the washing machine was handled in no time. I am delighted that I will be renting with Dexter’s for at least another two years. Catherine M. in particular is super friendly and kind. Thank you so much!

I am a client of 2 Dexters branches. One works very well because there is an individual who can take responsibility and get things done. 5 stars. At the other branch, I have no single contact and when I call the letting branch they say maintenance is not their responsibility (despite being the managers) and I am referred to the property management people (not sure where they are located ) but then still no single person takes responsibility. It can be a very trying experience finding someone who will actually do anything to help

Dexters have been fully managing our property since August have done a great job. We, unfortunately, had a major leak that damaged the property all the way from the top floor to the lower ground floor, and this was just five days before the new corporate client was supposed to move in. The team too swift action to get the house ready for the tenant to live in while the longer term damage could be repaired. They even worked with our insurance company to process the claim. It has been a very stress free (despite the extent of the damage) and hands off experience for us. We are very pleased we handed over the management of our property to Dexters.

Even though we called him late on a Friday afternoon, he managed to squeeze in a viewing within 30 minutes and worked tirelessly over the following weekend to have us approved for a flat rental. James showed me the house for the second time and was incredibly patient and thorough in explaining everything to me. He went above and beyond by showing me how to operate the various appliances and systems in the house, which made settling in much easier. What sets James apart is his constant communication with both me and the landlord. He was always available to answer any questions I had and provided updates on the status of the tenancy agreement. James also provided me with all the necessary details of utility bills, which was very helpful. His cordial and helpful demeanor was a breath of fresh air. He took the time to understand my needs and provided excellent support throughout the entire process. He even went out of his way to take me and my family in his own car and shown me the property for the second time, which was a kind and thoughtful gesture. Dexters in Muswell Hill, north London took on the management and major works of a grade 2 block. They sold themselves on their expertise of managing historical properties. They recommend surveyors and contractors suitable for the task of major works. In a nutshell, a clueless organisation with zero knowledge of lime mortar Flemish bond buildings. They added zero value and in some aspects destroyed value to the block by the cowboys they recommend.

I made the mistake of trusting Dexters again after an initial incident where pure profit over people made me wish I never encountered them, but I loved the look of a place being advertised and couldn't help but at least attempt to see if it was right for me. In the end not only was it a "bait and switch" the property being advertised was already off the market but I 1- got inedadted with irrelevant properties in my inbox 2- was stood up at a viewing that was scheduled and 3 had all of my communication preferences ignored. I won't fall again for the trickery and horrificly unprofessional conduct of Dexters again.
