Great service, great team

From the moment we met zoey we knew it was only cubitt and west for us! She was engaging and it felt a less business like approach which we preferred, also straight talking with little fluff - a great quality as robotic and passionless approaches put us off other agents. Julie Bramble was fantastic in her role pushing things along meaning we didnt have to and her responses were quick - she particularly excelled when she looked into a request I put in and also getting a tricky exchange/completion over the line - very professional, courteous and for me should be employee of the month. Other interactions with the team including samara were great and I would recommend anyone to use this branch.

I can’t recommend Cubitt & West highly…

I can’t recommend Cubitt & West highly enough for the excellent service and support I received throughout the sale of my house. My initial correspondence was with Zoey, who was incredibly supportive, friendly and informative from the very beginning. She was always happy to answer my questions and made me feel reassured and well looked after, which made the whole process much less daunting. I was then fortunate to have Julie supporting me with the sale. Julie was fantastic throughout, professional, approachable, knowledgeable and always there when I needed help or advice. She kept me informed at every stage, communicated clearly and went above and beyond to make sure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. Selling a house can be a stressful experience, but having such caring and dedicated people supporting me made a huge difference. I genuinely felt that both Zoey and Julie cared about achieving the best possible outcome for me, rather than simply seeing it as another sale. A huge thank you to Zoey and Julie for all your hard work, patience and support. You were both a pleasure to deal with, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cubitt & West to anyone looking to sell their home.

I wanted to specifically recognise…

I wanted to specifically recognise Thomas Goodchild for the support he has given me throughout what has unfortunately been a very difficult tenancy experience. I first dealt with Thomas shortly after my tenancy began, when an arrangement I had agreed prior to signing had not been properly communicated internally. Thomas took the time to understand what had happened, reviewed the correspondence I provided and resolved the issue for me fairly and with genuine understanding. When more serious issues arose with the tenancy and I was struggling to get a response, I reached out to Thomas again. Although the matter was not directly his responsibility, he helped me escalate it to the appropriate people, which ultimately resulted in me getting the response I needed. Most recently, Thomas has supported me through the checkout process. Once again, he has been responsive, kind, clear and genuinely helpful, making sure everything was properly documented and explaining what was needed from me. What stands out is that this wasn't a one-off interaction. Every time I dealt with Thomas, he showed the same professionalism, empathy and willingness to help. During an experience that has been incredibly stressful both personally and financially, being treated with basic human kindness genuinely meant a lot. Thomas is a real credit to the team and I wanted to make sure his individual service was recognised. Thank you, Thomas.

Lost engagement ring !

Big shout out to Thomas Goodchild (of lettings and customer care) who is always there when I need him. Last time it was my shower and this time (through no fault of my own) it was my engagement ring that fell down the drain. I was absolutely devastated and so I got through to Thomas who called me to arrange the plumber to come as quickly as he can. Within a day the swift arrangements were made and then Thomas also phoned me after to check that everything had been sorted out for me. I'm so grateful for him always being on hand to sort out all my maintenance issues whenever I have any. He's awesome. Thank you so much for all the excellent service you have provided!

Unfortunately, the purchase ultimately didn't go through, but this was absolutely no fault of Alia or Jemma. Cubitt were great from the start of the process to the end. Zoe sold the company well, explained the process and organised some fantastic photographs. The sales team were efficient and communicated well during viewings. After a quick sale Julie oversaw the progress of the chain and kept us regularly informed. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with this estate agent a couple of months ago. I’m only writing this review now because I wanted some time to cool down and move on properly after the experience. Jo Leaver was extremely pushy and made us feel pressured throughout the process, which took a lot of the excitement out of buying a home. If you’re planning to buy a property through them, I strongly recommend using your own solicitor and mortgage advisor. The ones they work with are clearly closely connected, and they share personal information from the mortgage advisor ( Mortgage Matters - Samantha Berryman) that supposed to be confidential and it felt like decisions were being made to suit their own interests rather than ours. They made us to pay for the searches, they reassured us nobody else was going to view the property. 4 days later they found an other buyer. The money went down the drain. It was very unethical but we understand it’s legal. From the buyers point of view she was one of the worst person to deal with. The whole experience was stressful and unpleasant. From moment one was no trust, Jo Leaver asked us to show the screen shots of the bank accounts. Luckily, we found another property, and got the keys today, a completely different and much better experience. I wanted to make sure we started our new home without any negative energy from the past situation. I would never recommend this estate agent.
