Chamberlain Phillips have been brilliant throughout the selling process to final completion. We found everyone to be very professional, knowledgeable and most importantly communicative, keeping us informed throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. There were issues along the way including our first sale falling through, and lack of communication further down the chain on the second sale, which caused us considerable stress. During this, we were kept up to date quickly and the negotiating carried out on our behalf was exceptional. Lorraine was absolutely wonderful in progressing our sale and purchase; we can’t thank her enough for ensuring everything went smoothly. Our special thanks to all the team including Craig, Dean, Henry, Chris and Lorraine. We wholeheartedly recommend Chamberlain Phillips to anybody wanting to sell their house. From the very start, right through to completion. Chamberlain Phillips conducted my sale with the utmost professionalism. It wasn’t the easiest transaction, due to the complexities of the property being a Grade 2 listed property in need of complete restoration, and my need for discrete marketing, but we’re able to find me a buyer quickly, and made the process smooth. What can I say, house selling is a nightmare but everyone at Chamberlain Phillips was an absolute Star. A brilliant team effort with assistance given by all not ... you will have to wait for x to come back. We all think Estate Agents just take photos and post on Rightmove yes ? No they are so so much more than that, I am a total convert. Through viewings, continual advice on strategy, I stretched them totally on this & it was effortless for them, & once the chain was complete they undertook very close monitoring of the whole chain & things that were causing a problem. There was one hold up in our chain for weeks as one Corporate Entity thought it was acceptable to sit on something for 5 weeks whilst all the lives in the chain were held up. The issue, apparently there is always one folks, was not one we had any say over but Lorraine at Chamberlain Phillips, together with our Lawyer Natalie at Carbon Law, did not let it rest. Chamberlain Phillips placed us with Natalie & secured a fantastic quote so that's another thing which was great about them. Not that I have actually given birth but they say you forget all the heartache once the baby is delivered. This was like that but what a Midwife to have in Chamberlain Phillips, I would highly recommend.

I sold a property and bought my new home with the help of Chamberlain Phillips. The whole team could have not been more helpful or professional. The attention to detail was incredible. I wasn’t expecting always informed of every step throughout the sale and the purchase in a very timely and efficient manner. The sale of my property was quite a difficult process as it was a “ Marmite” house which needed to find a specific buyer who would appreciate its beauty. They found that buyer and in a difficult market and their tenacity pushed the sale through. They even sold my buyers property too! During the sale phase Craig and Henry were great. Having viewed potential purchase properties with them both prior to instructing an agent on our own home, they stood out as being superior compared to others locally. They had done their homework - had the answers to all our questions about the properties and were professional but not pushy - a stark contrast to some of the other agents who had showed us properties in the area. This professionalism continued when Craig arrived to value ours, he was prepared, had done his research and was realistic. Having had some challenging house moves in the past, the real value in paying out for an agent is after the sales agreed. Which is when Lorraine stepped in - she was our point of contact throughout, chasing the rest of the chain, solicitors etc to help get the date we needed and keep things moving even when it was technically out of remit - Lorraine was on the case!

I spoke with Rob yesterday regarding a house I had come across on Rightmove. That house specifically wasn’t for me but Rob then spent the next half an hour listening to what we’re looking for and just taking the time to really understand what we’re after. He then sent through some really great properties that hadn’t even made it to market yet and we’ll be arranging viewings soon. A lot of the time, especially at the moment, by the time a house hits the market it’s too late.
