TrustpilotGreat service
Great service. Very efficient, transaction took 3 weeks from start to finish with very reasonable fees. Faiza Ahmed was very professional, keeping me informed each step of the way. Very happy to recommend both Faiza and Mactaggart and Co to anyone in need of a good solicitor. Faiza even offered a free will writing service which I look forward to taking advantage of soon.

GoogleEmma McMurray did all the conveyancing for our house sale and purchase of our new one and she was absolutely excellent. She was always available when I needed to contact her, responded to emails very quickly and kept me informed every step of the way. She was a total professional and very pleasant too. I can highly recommend Mactaggarts for your conveyancing. And many thanks to Emma! We're very happy in our forever home.

GoogleFantastic service provided by Caitlin Muir when I was selling my property. Caitlin made selling my property very smooth. This was by far the best dealings I have had with any solicitors! What is normally a stressful experience was mitigated because she was always quick to respond to any queries and kept me updated throughout the whole process. The fees charged were also reasonable and I will only use Mactaggart and Co from this point onwards. Highly recommend and fully deserving of 5 stars!

GoogleExcellent service. I dealt with Faiza. I needed a will drafted at very short notice. Faiza was very efficient am I had a completed will in three days. Process was painless as she understood what I needed. This is especially exceptional service as they provide a will service at no charge. I will definitely use this business again. Thank you again.

GoogleMactaggart and Co solicitors have helped us with a number of matters over the past few years, the most recent being assisting my wife in her role as Executor of a relative's Estate. Fergus Duncan and his team are very helpful and easy to deal with. My view is that they are professional, practical, efficient and friendly with a reasonable and sensible fee structure. The Estate Agency arm of the business is also top notch and helped us through a rather eventful property sale. Each of the team acted as a single whole and went out of their way to expedite the sale. Thanks to them all.

TrustpilotThe best estate agents out there by a mile!
From start to finish, totally professional, highly efficient, from huge experience of the market. The property was sold the same day within just hours of listing. Communication has been excellent at every stage. Lesley McClure and Alison Reid have been magnificent throughout - Neil Bremner and team really take the prize for top estate agent quality - definitely the only experts to consider!

GoogleWe recently made a very big move from England to Scotland and contacted McTaggarts as we were looking in the area at the time. From the moment we walked into the office to be met with a friendly greeting at reception, we felt we were in very good hands. Alison Reid and Fergus Duncan, handled the conveyance in an extremely professional and knowledgeable manner especially given the additional timing complications involved in a move from England to Scotland. They went the extra mile to ensure our questions were answered, even referring us on to other knowledgeable colleagues who were just as helpful. We really felt the whole team had our best interests at heart. Communication was easy there was always someone to talk to and Alison was always on hand to take calls or call back as soon as she could. The whole conveyance from selling our English house to purchase and completion of our Scottish house took just under 5 weeks which is something of a record. We can’t recommend McTaggarts highly enough. Thankyou! Mark and Annie Turner

Google5 star service from start to finish. Initial conveyancing with Fergus Duncan then Alison Reid. I was kept fully up to date and the sale, through Alison’s attention to detail, was flawless. I can’t thank them enough. We already have Wills etc through MacTaggart & Co (Fergus) and were recommended their services by a neighbour; we’ve never looked back. Everyone is helpful, friendly, professional with reasonable fees. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone. Worth every penny.

GoogleCan’t recommend the team here highly enough! I used Alison to assist in selling my house and purchasing a new one. Nothing was ever any trouble and despite a few bumps in the road, Alison was always reassuring and gave great advice. I won’t be moving again in a hurry, but if I do I know who to contact.
