GoogleThe agents at the Lampeter office are the worst agents we have come across in our search for a house in the South of Wales. There was a house in Pontsian that I absolutely loved. We live in London and had to group our viewings to optimizer the time for the times we came to Wales.
Every time we came they had some excuse why we could not view the house. For example they said there was a weather warning. That was the day before we arrived, while the day we went viewing was great (10 January)
Eventually we bought a house (at the same price) in Blaenau, due to our time restraints in finding a property.
The owner does not live there, so I doubt he knows the opportunity squandered by his/her agents

We take all matters raised seriously and have undertaken a review of the situation with our staff before responding.
We note that you e-mailed us (via Rightmove) on the 3rd January 2026 wanting to view the property in Pontsian.
Within the Rightmove message and viewing request you made the comments: "Last time we enquired the sellers were only interested in buyers with an offer. We do not have an offer yet but as were from London and viewings are very difficult to organise. We had hoped the sellers would consider a viewing?"
On the 5th January 2026, following discussion with our client, our Lampeter office responded to you by saying:
"Good morning,
Thank you for your enquiry.
Unfortunately, you would have to be in a proceedable position to view this property.
You are more than welcome to do a drive by so you can see the property from the outside and the local area.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards
Amy"
We note that we never received a response to this e-mail but you may have called the office. No staff member recalls any discussion with any potential viewer about the weather and would not obstruct a viewing. The weather would be a consideration for the viewer, not us.
Clearly the staff acted on clients instructions not to allow the viewing to take place because of the position you were in and this was made clear to you on more than one occasion. It had nothing to do with the weather.
We even encouraged a drive-by which does not run with your story that the weather was an issue.
If we are instructed not to allow viewings for parties that are not proceedable, that is the vendors decision and instructions and not ours.
To leave a negative review because of your frustration with the vendors request - not ours - seems unfair, particularly as you've known the position all along.

Amy was the bridge between some pretty frustrating parties (myself included, plus solicitors at both ends) but kept things professional. She offered excellent guidance and kept both sides in the loop with updates throughout the journey. Thank you for your efforts and patience. If I ever need estate agents again I'll definitely consider M&D, nil concerns.

GoogleI had the pleasure of never meeting Llion as he was never actually physically present at any stage of the selling process, including showing the house. The surveyors and other workers he recommends must be close acquaintances involved in a convenient racket. They charged what I later learned were rates about 10X higher than similar workers, and still did not provide the correct documentation, or what was provided had multiple problems in accuracy. And 10X is probably an understatement, given the amount of time the workers were there. He seemed more interested in completing the transaction than allowing time for everything on my end to be investigated in a responsible manner.

GoogleTerrible service over and over again. I made an offer on a property and it was ignored, not passed onto the seller. When I sent an email following up, that was ignored too. I arranged a viewing on a property and was ghosted mid-conversation by one of the agents. Then, when I asked for details regarding another property, I was told it was not their responsibility to provide information to potential buyers. HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE EVEN ESTATE AGENTS? I am shocked. What is worse is that they monopolise so many properties for sale in my area, essentially blocking them from being purchased as there is no way to view, ask questions, or even make an offer on them due to this terrible estate agency. Surely they ought to go out of business sometime soon. It is overdue! Make changes, or make way -- you are awful.
EDIT: Proving their limited worth, Morgan and Davies have replied to suggest that I have not made offers and contacted them as I state. Unsurprisingly, they are the liars in this. I am happy to provide proof of email chains and phone call records to Google to prove my claims. I made two recent offers on a property, the first on 17th November and the second on 18th November. I chased my unanswered offer on 23rd November and was ignored. My husband and I also made an enquiry on a different property as recently as 6th December, to which our question was ignored. And finally, in regards to being ignored mid text conversation when arranging a viewing, it was actually YOU Rhys, who did the ignoring! The date for that -- since you cannot seem to remember! -- was 24th October. I wish you had been as snappy as you are now when I was speaking to you then. I get better service from leaving a bad review than making offers on property it seems! And so, I stand by my assertion: family business or not, if you are a bad business you need to go out of business and make way for an actual estate agent. Idiot.

Thank you for your review which makes for disappointing reading and is somewhat puzzling.
Our records show you contacted our office enquiring about a property on the 25th April 2023 at 7.15am and we responded at 8.20am the same morning confirming that the particular property you enquired about via Zoopla, (not actually made an offer on as you suggest in your review), was under offer and we would keep you informed should that sale not proceed. According to our records we haven't heard anything from you since.
You previously made an offer on a house in 2019 but that didn’t proceed to completion. The member of staff dealing with you at the time has also left the company so isn’t a fair reflection of the staff.
I’m keen do discuss your concerns further, as your record of events clearly don’t match the records on our system. Please feel free to call me in the Aberaeron office tomorrow morning 01545571600.
Furthermore, the accusations you make of our family business are completely unfounded and derogatory with no substance.
To wish someone goes out of business because you are not happy with a response received or frustrated with a process shows a complete lack of appreciation to someone wanting to give you honest advice and answers to queries.
The tone & accusations made in your review leave us with no option but to report your review to Google as we are not comfortable with accusations of monopolising or restricting viewing which is again completely false, misleading and defamatory. If this was our approach to business then how would we have any sales?

GoogleI spent a couple of weeks trying to arrange a viewing for a property I was interested in. Due to factors such as distance, rail strikes and my own hectic schedule earlier in the month, this proved tricky. I called again on Friday 16th to try to arrange something for the following week, and all seemed to be in hand until I received a voicemail over the weekend asking what days I was available, as the woman I'd spoken to had apparently forgotten.
I called again Tuesday 20th (first opportunity I had) to try yet again, but this time my call was answered by a different woman who was incredibly rude and unprofessional, speaking to me in a very aggressive and accusatory tone, and repeatedly talking over me mid-sentence. I ended up hanging up without having made any arrangements, and thoroughly appalled at her manner.
Naturally, this has not helped matters, so I called again later the same day and asked to speak to somebody more senior to try to actually get somewhere. I was told that Mr Morgan (the director) was busy on another call, but would call me back as soon as he was available.
It has now been ten days, and I have still heard nothing. I guess even the boss doesn't care about the staff's incompetence, unprofessionalism, and utter rudeness!
