Yes - they sold our property - however thats the easy part. During the sales process they did very little, to the point the onward estate agents in the chain did the majority of the work, and without them I am unsure it would have even happened. Nice enough staff, but maybe need to focus on not just winning business and helping those in the process

awful, I have been trying to speak to someone from the sales team for months. they say the same script every time I call "this is lettings, leave your details and sales will call you back". They never do. I actually want to purchase a property, why wont they talk to me? I can see the property just sitting there and every time I ask if it's still available they say it is. But I never get further than that with them.

As landlords we find that we have a smooth transition between us and our tenants, because Daniella Pink and Caroline French have been very friendly and efficient in sorting out issues in relation to our tenancy. They are very attentive and prompt in what they do.

Monika has been managing my flat for rent for the last year or so. She has always been friendly, responsive and proactive, communicated regularly by email and by phone and I have been able to feel the flat is in good hands. Recently we've had some issues with damage coming from the flat above and she has gone the extra mile to chase the managers of that property so that the damage can be repaired. I'm very grateful to her!

Unfortunately I had a leak at my flat which I let out through Dexters. Monika has been incredibly efficient in resolving this - chasing the managing agent to find the cause of the leak, following up and arranging for it to be fixed and then looking into redecoration which needs to be claimed on the buildings insurance, as well as liaising with and reassuring the tenant and keeping me informed. She has been a pleasure to deal with and I am really impressed by her efficiency, reliability and tenacity.

I had very specific requirements so I truly believe he went above and beyond to help me Keron actively called me to ask me for exactly what home I was interested in and within an hour he found exactly what I wanted and more. I moved in within two weeks. He is by far the best estate agent I have ever used. He’s a genuine guy, incredibly keen to help find you what you want, pleasant to talk to, listens well but most importantly he gets the job done efficiently and speedily. I highly recommend Keron. He’s the number 1 estate agent in Streatham.

Edit: June 2024- Dexter's helped us get a second flat to rent, this time in West Norwood and James helped us get the everything sorted so quickly. He's been so friendly and helpful - making sure we're settled in and happy! Thank you James. Looking to rent in the Streatham Hill area, the team at Dexters were incredibly fast to respond to our enquiry and helped us through the process smoothly - we saw the flat, had our offer accepted and all the paperwork processed in a matter of days. The rental team are very lovely and we're grateful to be looked after by them!

Recently I had an issue with an appliance at one of my rented properties, Nabil Subhani dealt with back and forth between his maintenance team, the tenant, the insurance company and directly with me. In all the time. Dealing with the matter, Nabil was responsive to all matters in an extremely efficient and timely way. His communication was clear and to the point and the matter was progressed efficiently despite the fact that that too many people were involved he stayed at the centre of communicating with all parties concerned.

Very sloppy service from Dexters. Missing attachments to emails, forgetting to send information, incorrect information was sent.At check-in, they didn't even give us the right keys.... Sloppiness was a constant through the process....The house was very very dirty, despite it should have been professionally cleaned by contract. There was mold, dust, dead insects.... Lots of furniture was broken or not fixed. We are not sure if the landlords were informed at all at this point.Another red flag is that the agents try to lock tenants in very long contracts, a new trend with many companies. They didn't pressure as much as others, but still, they create this constant sense of urgency for the tenants.... then they disappear for days and need constant follow-ups.Do not recommend.

GoogleA great estate agency I had the pleasure of working with recently when house hunting! I wasn't able to secure a property with them which was of no fault of theirs. Letting consultant Keron was very helpful sharing a selection of properties initially with me and upon receiving my specifications was very on the ball with ensuring I received instant alerts of properties that fit my criteria. Even went as far as calling and following up to ensure receipt. Unfortunately I secured a property via a different agency as they just so happened to have a property that ticked all of my boxes. I do recommend Dexter Streatham and big thank you to Keron for the service.

Proactive communication, empathy and transparency are three core values I have seen demonstrated at Dexters. I have rented a home through them for nearly two years, and they have stood out as property managers that actually care. Most recently, Daragh Power has impressed me with their kindness and genuine care. I had two requests of the landlord, one that would require a change to my contact, and Daragh was AMAZING at listening to my needs, understanding the time sensitivity and following up with the landlord when we didn’t receive a response right away. They could have deprioritised my concerns or have gotten upset with my persistence but instead they understood where I was coming from and really advocated for me. This is exactly what one would want from a property manager, but is something I find is rare, especially in a ‘landlord market.’ Daragh communicated professionally throughout and made the entire process stress free. I wouldn’t choose another property manager besides Dexters.

Dexters has been my rental management agent for a number of years and have done an excellent job. Bethany Stewart is very helpful in sorting things out for me. I would recommend them.
