Jamila was great at understanding what I was looking for (even though my brief was vague and I wasn’t always sure myself!) and selected a great selection of properties to view. Once I made an offer the process was very slow due to some complications but Jamila was communicative and helpful throughout, pushing things along and calming me down. Highly recommend.

Danny in the maintenance has been very helpful with my washing machine, he gave me step by step instructions whilst on the phone which were easy to follow and hopefully an engineer would not need to waste their time coming out. Lots of issues when moving in, helpful getting these sorted

I recently moved into a property let by and managed by Dexters. One of the reasons I chose Dexters was because I thought I would be less likely to have issues with it being a larger company. However when I moved in there were a wide range of issues including mould, furniture that was supposed to be removed, broken appliances and blocked drains. Basic checks before I moved in would have identified these issues.

Worst experience with the agency

Worst experience with the agency, I decided to move out the apartment earlier because living conditions were unbearable. As such early tenancy move outs require a penalty, I was told by an agent a sum and that it is a fixed amount regardless if they will find a new tenant or I will, the total sum stays the same.Come to find out 2 months later that this in fact was not true and I could’ve saved almost 2K if I found a tenant myself. Agent was denying ever saying those terms to me to the point it was easier to pay the sum than start the negotiations with big agency. Would not recommend to use them or be very careful with every communication and have it crystal clear via emails.

They just don't care

Everything was fine and then we moved in. Loads of issues loads of non working or non closing doors. The fridge that was supposed to be replaced has never been replaced. All the emails have been ignored and no maintenance work has been done. Leaking roof makes living in 1 room impossible but the emails are being ignored. Calling them you only get a question how bad is it??? What do you mean how bad is it??? So for over a year there has not been any help from them. But they expect you to jump as soon as they need something. I hope its only this branch that is so incompetent and others are better.....
