GoogleWe worked with Stephen McCarron MRICS at Donnybrook for our recent house purchase, and what a relief we did. He produced the most comprehensive initial survey we’ve seen, with lots of explanations on what everything meant. When foam insulation was flagged as an issue, our mortgage provider would only accept a survey from an MRICS surveyor, and luckily we’d been working with Stephen from the get go, so we were covered there. He performed the additional checks our mortgage provider requested, and returned for final checks once the foam was removed. Our provider was satisfied with his thorough reporting and issued the mortgage. Stephen was lovely to work with and we would recommend him to anyone. Many thanks Stephen!

GoogleMy son and his wife bought a house they were selling nearly 6 months ago . They only just got into it 2 weeks ago after problem after problem down the whole chain . When they finally got a moving in date they had no correspondence from Donnybrook about collecting their keys from their office which is normal practice any time I have purchased a house. The residents of the house had no intentions of moving so they had to go to the house and demand the keys as this was now their house . Was a very bad experience with the residents of the house been very rude and still not packed or ready to move (may I say they had 6 months to pack ).
Donnybrook were never available during the whole process over the 6 mths my son tried tirelessly to get into his new house as they were homeless living between families.
They had sold their house in Belfast with the believe be in their new house latest October 2024 or at least before Christmas. They were given excuses after excuses and I feel Donnybrook should have stepped in and told them they needed to move out as was not right to keep my son waiting this long . All I can say is my son and his wife were left mentally and physically exhausted with the whole process and dread moving in the future again when they want to move up again . No one seem to be communicating with each other including all the solicitors. Also Donnybrook never ever got back to my son at weekends even though they state this on their website .

Thank you for your review which whilst understandable given the stress your son and his family encountered is aimed at the wrong party.We totally understand it was an unfortunate situation and one which in the 34 years of selling homes we have never encountered. Whilst the frustration in your review is evident it is both unfair and does not accurately reflect the situation. Moreover our office had been in contact with your son on a more than regular basis. Furthermore, your son had also been in regular contact with the vendors. On the day of completion our clients gave us no indication that they wouldn’t be moving out by 12 noon. We had no input or influence over this and whilst we tried contacting them many times throughout the day of completion they would not take our call.
Conaire who was the lead in this sale worked tirelessly in trying to resolve the situation and kept your son fully updated. So much so that your son whilst speaking with him as late as today said he loves the property and it was worth the wait.
At no point during the conversation did he say he was unhappy with Donnybrook.
We can accept and learn from criticism when it’s fair however in this instance we feel your attack has been misdirected.

From the onset, we knew this time we were in good hands. Fantastic service and a special mention to Ciara who went above and beyond for us.
Having dealt with a few other estate agent's around town, they could certainly learn a lot here.
Donnybrook are hands down the best.

As a young first time buyer, the process was quite intimidating from the outside but as soon as I saw my to-be home and was contacted by Eamonn in Donnybrook I had a 5 star service.
