GoogleRemax Kirkcaldy are probably the worst estate agents we have come across in thirty years of property development. Friends viewed a property with Iqra. Although the property had no central heating,and needed a rewire , new kitchen and bathroom etc, it was a solid house and the location was perfect. Our friends agreed an over home report price with Iqra on the night on the basis that the property would be removed from the market. A couple of days later Remax came back asking for the offer to be increased by a couple of thousand pounds. Our friends were reluctant to agree, so arranged a second viewing and asked us to come along and give a second opinion. Viewing lasted about 10 minutes and we were practically thrown out as Iqra had somewhere else to be. The deal eventually went through, at the original agreed price but throughout weeks of all the usual legals, Remax had to be constantly chased for information and would never return calls. They do not provide floor plans and would not allow a contractor to survey the property for heating etc, prior to missives being signed, costing valuable time on the upgrade process. To cap it all, they failed to hand over the keys on time and removal men were kept waiting needlessly. If you are selling, do not use Remax Kirkcaldy as they are likely to drive prospective buyers away. If you are buying, be prepared for a frustrating experience.

Hi George, we are very sorry to hear that your friends had a bad experience. However feel that your review is unfair towards REMAX. We absolutely do provide floorplans, it is the owners choice if they want one or not. The points regarding access to the property and the offer were not decisions made by remax, they were instructions given to us by the seller and the sellers solicitors, therefore out of our control. We did argue the case with the solicitor and ask them to give you access however they refused. The viewing lasted over 20 minutes as there were 20 minutes allocated for this viewing before the next appointment was booked in. Iqra was at this property with your friends for the whole duration of the viewing time booked in. Keys were handed in late by the previous owners therefore released late, something that was also out of our control. We are sorry that your friends feel this way, but sometimes there are instructions from our sellers that we need to follow.
