Just like to say a huge thank you to all at delmor for selling my home. From start to finish everything went smoothly and was stress free. I was so nervous but the girls in the office especially Ann and Lisa were fantastic, always keeping me updated and never too busy to answer my never ending questions, they always had time for a chat and to put my mind at rest. with all there hard work my home sold within 2 weeks. I cannot recommend delmor enough, thanks again xx

My advice is look elsewhere or at least be aware of their "minimum fee" pricing policy

I dealt with Delmor Cowdenbeath and Delmor Leven recently and I simply would say this: avoid. The staff seem friendly but is's all superficial (estate agents are infamous in that regard) and with hindsight, they don't like it if you ask too many questions. Just sign the form and pay the extortionate fee (see title). I wish I had never contacted them. The only reason I chose them was because in the town where I lived, their sales boards were in nearly every street. Be advised that they will charge you a minimum fee of around £1500 or more regardless of how much effort it takes to sell your property. They (Delmor) should only bill actual chargeable hours plus their percentage, which in my case, wouldn't have been very much, at all. Even if this is common practice,it does not make it right or fair. There's no way I should have been charged so much when my flat was basically sold in one day. Shop around, get quotes, which is what I should have done. I was left today with no help from their Leven branch that took me hours to do, when they should have sorted it as they were the selling agents. Would have taken them no time at all. Four hours on the phone and sending emails, hours of my life ruined because of Peter Hind and his colleagues not doing their jobs. Mr Hind threatened on the phone to "come and have a word" with me when I complained. Totally unprofessional and very inappropriate. Not unlike a playground bully, and to make matters even worse, he is the branch manager. They (Delmor) refused to help or even accept that their client, the seller, had created a great deal of work for me, which was completely unnecessary. I definitely won't be contacting them next time, or for any reason, I will go back to my previous estate agent who were much better in every way. My time is equally valuable as anyone who works for Delmor, though they obviously think differently. I sincerely hope this review is read by someone at their Head Office as it's all 100 % true. I will provide a full account, this is only a summary. Mr Lind crossed a line today, unacceptably, I will be selling and buying again in a few years and will not even consider this lot for anything.

The lovely girls, Michelle, Angela and Carolyn, were so efficient, you would not think you were doing a house sale. Everthing, from start to finish went so smoothly it was a breeze. Following lockdown been trying to find a rental! Cannot understand why the agents spend days showing the same property to lots of other people when you meet the criteria and furnish them with all your papers an proofs and references and credit reports. Instead they generate interest then filter through many applications to keep interested parties waiting. It’s not like anybody will be offering above the rental value. Anyhow once this is complete rather than taking the first perspective tenant forward they take five to the landlord with all the information they gathered from the interested parties to allow the landlord to make final decision. Following this they don’t respond to emails or calls! The landlord hired YOU to have a fair process and to ensure tenants meet essential criteria! Absolutely shocking especially Lynn n Kym (Kdy).

Currently a tenant in a property managed by delmor and have had to withhold my rent due to holes in roof, heating constantly dropping pressure, didn't have a proper working fridge for almost 3 weeks, front door isn't closing properly and there is wet wall covering mainfuse Into the property. My husband deals with them now. After a week with no fridge he called them up for a follow up to be told they didn't have it on their records even though I still had emails with pictures that were sent to them as requested and even got a reply.. After being 2 weeks late with rent we were called up to ask where our rent was and we told them we are still awaiting repairs. We were then shouted at and threatened that if we were to apply for a council house they would make sure we wouldn't get one. Disgusting behaviour. Oh and still awaiting repairs.

All the staff in the lettings side are so horrible, it's like they have a competition to see which one of them can be the rudest. They sent me e-mails saying I was responsible for the previous tenant's gas and electricity bill - even though I showed them the bill was for dates before I took over the property. Left me no option but to contact the energy provider and e-mail them a copy of my tenancy paperwork which showed the date I moved in.The property was filthy when I moved in, I sent them videos of this, but they still insisted that it had been professionally cleaned.Refused to give me my deposit back when I left, had to dispute this with safe deposit Scotland who gave me my deposit back in full.They all are unprofessional, rude and won't listen. Please use someone else.

This is my first time renting a full property through a letting agent. I was very unsure of the application process but the staff at delmor have been fantastic and guided me through everything. If there’s an issue with the property they have this online messaging system where you fill it out and someone gets back to you within a day or so. Works very well. When I moved in the fridge was on the blink and within a short amount of time I had a brand new one with a little freezer compartment as I’d requested. I get regular emails from them keeping me up to date with plans going forward, landlords intentions etc. The properties are of a high standard, issues are fixed promptly, they are willing to work around my schedule as I work a lot and fit everything around that. No horror stories here. Delmor Kirkcaldy are fantastic!

Andrew Watt came to look at our flat, didn't want to really look around or listen. Didn't look at the garden and asked why he was there.. We were hoping to value the flat to get it on the market but that not what these estate agents do. While looking at his watch asked if I needed anything more from him.. The value... He said 75k even though two previous companies who looked around quoted 90k. Left within 5 minutes of arriving. Complete waste of time after fully renovating a flat and taking a day off work for this boso to not care.

I asked Delmor to come and view my property for selling. The agent let himself into my house and quite rudely pointed out that my house was ok and he thought he could sell it. I gave him my ballpark estimation of it's value, the agent laughed and said I was dreaming and at least £100,000 too high. He started his sales pitch but I told him I would like to ask another agency to value my house. I ended up using Slater Hogg, my house was sold within a week for more than the asking price. The Delmor agent I believe was the owner of Delmor, he was dressed like a spiv, spoke like a chancer with no manners, I'm stunned they get business in Fife with this attitude. Not a good experience.

I have been using Delmor for over 15 years now for buying and selling properties. I have always found Andrew a pleasure to deal with and he has always achieved the sale price and above for my properties. Equally, when I have dealt with the girls in the office, they have always kept me informed on the progress of the sales, Ann, Lisa and Amy are a great asset to the business and it shows with the level of serviced received. I have recently just moved into my first rental property and was not sure on what to expect. The girls in the rental team were so helpful, as I work nightshift, they were able to arrange a viewing time that was convenient for me, some other agencies were not able to accommodate this. The whole process was stress free and everything was always fully explained to me. Since moving in, there have been a couple of repairs that have been dealt with promptly.
